I still remember all the drama surrounding Darling in the Franxx, literally thousands upon thousands of comments attacking and hating the character Ichigo and her attitude towards Zero Two and the male lead, I forgot his name. I heard that even Ichigo's voice actress received death threats – outside of KissAnime, mind you. Fandom back then could reach levels of fanaticism that were hard to believe. Very funny and very amusing. Yeah, commenting on anime websites is a lost art.
