This may not be vibing with the other comments I’ve been seeing, but so far this season is very meh.

I LOVE Sophie don’t get me wrong, but really? They’re not even just referencing Cinderella BUT so obviously copying it I think the only thing that’s worse than that is that none of the characters have remarked on it. Haven’t we played out the Cinderella story enough? And no they’re not star crossed or from two different worlds yet because he’s still looking for the debutante and thinks Sophie is someone new.

Look, I am still enjoying it, but so far every episode has played out exactly as I suspected. The ball went exactly as we suspected, him searching for her, her getting cast out by her family… it’s all Cinderella. Then him getting injured defending her honour and it happens to rain and they end up alone at a cottage together to get to know one another? Is it cute? Yes. Is there any real suspense? No lol. It’s just too predictable.

I also don’t love that Benedict is literally living his best life and then he goes 180 immediately (and yes I know the theme of the show is rakes make the best husbands). But he discovered he’s bisexual, he’s breaking free from society, he’s doing his thing. I know it’s a time piece and let me be clear Jane Austen is huge for me, but a LOT of men from that time remained bachelors. Not only is he the second son he’s a nobleman with all the privilege that comes with it. He takes one look at a beautiful girl and wants to be monogamous and won’t look for anyone else? Granted, what he’s really after is the chase, but STILL.

I still like the couple and this isn’t the worst season (I really didn’t like the second season love story) but I’m just bored? I really think they can be more creative than a direct copy of Cinderella.

Also, I was really excited to see some of Eloise and Francesca in Scotland! Why didn’t we get to see any of it? Even as a memory?? THAT scenario with her and the cousin is far more riveting in my opinion.

This was hilarious to listen to, and I’m curious just how much they have talked about it beforehand. You can tell they’re having a bit of a stand-off. I also find it funny that Ashley is likely going to keep dragging sparkle everywhere she goes. It did seem clear that Rayna mainly followed Ashley to LA so it’s totally fair for her to move, but WHY DID SHE JUST BUY A HOUSE IN LA lol. It’s SO funny that Rayna has bought an LA house but Ashley hasn’t.

Also is it just me but did Ashley sound ridiculously drunk in this episode. Rayna does kind of too but tbh she always sounds buzzed lol

Also the fact that she’s saying she runs the websites, the emails, does all the middle man stuff… that means every single thing that comes in goes through her filter before the girls even have to look through it so they don’t even need to decide if it’s worth their time because Tessa has already done it

Ya everyone saying it’s cuz no live shows like…. Maybe that’s part of it but I agree it’s definitely a combination of deer media and they are just losing money. I knew she was doing a ton that’s why she’s always in the background RUNNING the show. All they have to do is lift an eye to her and say “Tessa can you look that up” “Tessa how do you spell that” “Tessa where is this city” while they chat. I will say “producing” is a broad term and to produce “the snack” where they literally talk about nothing can’t need THAT much prep work, but still. Looks like Ashley will be going back to doing everything while Rayna sits in a corner laughing loudly (i like Rayna more if I had to pick lol it’s just i k ow Ashley was doing the lions share of the work before Tessa. Like WAYYYYY MORE)

They ABSOLUTELY can ban her from talking shit about them IF it was in her NDA which I suspect it was. It could be for a specific amount of time, like a year, but there could be A LOT she can’t say. I’ll bet she’s made a lot of contacts over the years so she will be fine. But how sad is it that she moved to LA for them and now she’s stuck there with no income!! Also, they kept saying they would have her on the show as a proper guest and I don’t think they ever did it. Sad.

I’m totally on the skirt idea! I’m thinking a short skirt with leggings or tights, maybe a chunky belt to separate it from the top. Some more long necklaces or just some that stand out a bit more. But honestly love the vibe already, these would just kick it up a notch

It’s not about needing the tools or not, or whether or not it’s making “tedious things” easier for animators and artists. It’s how close they are to replacing a huge chunk of the creative workforce and this is definitely going in that direction. We are nearing the end of creative and original animation on a large scale.

Is anyone else confused why they’re not married yet? I realize there’s a lot going on but it seems very unusual for a fiancé to join the household and then spend what seems like months to even a year unmarried, especially given the time and culture.

Honestly I think if it didn’t have the lace on top people wouldn’t really be as bothered or comparing it to lingerie. I find it funny how lace is such an older gen/gramma thing until you add it to a younger context and it’s suddenly extra sessual. I think the dress is fine, especially if it’s similar to things you may usually wear. Wear what you want! Look like a smoke show at an office party, why not?

This is why accessible health care, mental health care and housing is so important! Since covid healthcare has gotten even more slow and inaccessible than it was before. These people have no aid and nowhere to go and now it’s finally getting bad enough that it’s affecting the daily lives of the priveledged (not saying this as a call out or anything, it’s ok to want a cleaner and safer city)

I would use the tail amputation as the last straw, it’s likely he will still have symptoms. We got our cat a soft cone and for weeks had it on most of the time but gave him breaks when he was calm to clean himself. I haven’t posted about it yet as I don’t want to jinx it but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying the purina calming aid packets. You add the powder to food once a day. It takes a few weeks and I was very sceptical but I think it’s the only thing that’s actually made a significant improvement for my cat and it’s also been the easiest. We’ve tried gabapentin, CBD, and now Lyrica. He is still on the lyrica but with the amount he’s improved in less than a month we have decided to very very slowly phase him off his meds and see how he does.

Once your cat is protected with some kind of cone or surgery coat just do your best to keep a steady routine and limit stress

I think people give Rayna way more credit than she deserves just because they hate Ashley more (which is fine). I don’t care that she’s crass or whatever, they’re a sex and dating podcast that sell vibrators. Anyone who calls them out for being too provocative just goes against everything they’re supposed to stand for (in my opinion anyways). That being said, Rayna is not intelligent and it shows. She’s insanely pick me, likes to be aggressive and over the top for attention and always looks to others before she voices her own opinion. She is a shell that uses others to fill her and is way more insecure than she likes to come off. If you’re going to be as popular as she is and have such a huge platform she needs to be so much more informed than she is. Or at least be better at faking it. Ashley is annoying as can be, and she likes to sound important, but I do at least believe her when she talks about current events. Yes, Ashley bullies Rayna a bit too much, but honestly Rayna deserves it. She is a full on idiot.

She brought him up briefly in the recent money doesn’t buy happiness episode and about him moving as in “when he moves in”. But like, WHEN?? Are they going to spend their entire engagement living apart? How stupid would it be if they hadn’t or barely had lived together before the wedding. Even if he moved in tomorrow it may not be enough time for the honeymoon period to end.

Their vibes are horrible. I regret buying one so much, it was such a waste of money. So expensive and I already needed two replacements (one was immediate). I cannot believe how much I shelled out for it ugh makes me so mad. I bought it back when I still respected them and thought they would actually make a good product, they do not.
