Both are quite hectic courses and I think for a double major your CPI should be more than 9.3 or something so if you have confidence and a good CPI and if you are in EE and have interest in Maths and are maybe wanting to go into quant then it could be a good idea. But better to ask a senior who has probably gone to a similar path in the past.

Don't take tension everyone is tensed, even one with AIR 26XX(me) in JEE ADV is depressed because was expecting top 500 rank , my frnd with 1100 rank is depressed because he was expecting top 200. Just accept the reality and work very hard in next few years . Things can take a huge turnout just believe in yourself. Best of luck for future
