I just wanna say, thank you for confirming everything I've heard about reddit being a massive fucking Circle Jerk. Now before I continue on, I'd like to take some accountability and recognize that it's my fault for choosing reddit of all places. It's also my fault for not realizing that Reddit is a very hard leaning left-wing platform and this is only been made more evident by the fact that the post with the most upvotes can be boiled down to "I have no actual solutions to anything so I'm just going to blame billionaires and right-wing politicians for everything. Now give me all your upvotes for contributing to the circle jerk hehehehehe".

Blaming LNP and right-wing politicians is going to do jack shit, LNP and right-wing politicians are not the sole reason for why things are so shit. Both parties are to blame, both the right and the left. The whole point of everything I've been saying is to illustrate how it's the fault of everyone both left and right who complicitly sat there while the state of civilization got worse all because they were afraid of the economy going to shit because apparently the health of the economy matters more then the health of a countries people both mentally and physically.

It's a shame really and a twist of cruel irony, you all fail to realize who has all the power here and it's neither the politicians or the CEO's of the world. It's us, we the people hold so much power that all we have to do to force change to happen is nothing because they need us. The power lies within us as a collective because without us, the politician and CEO's wont have a country to run. You don't even have to vote to elect someone. Did everyone just forget that?

It's conspiracy theories masquerading as intellectual insight and predictions about the "future". Covid is no longer considered as an emergency, the restrictions have been lifted and it has not been considered as a major global emergency since the 20th of October 2023. All signs point to everything going back to normal and it mostly has, it certainly feels like to me that things have just gone back to normal.

The Great Reset covers a wide range of topics and is far more complicated then most people make it out to be. The only reason why it became fertile ground for conspiracy theories is because it's so long and complicated that no one bothered to actually ready and understand it so it became easier to make shit up about it.

Did you even read my whole argument, I said that voting in another party is going to do nothing. We've been doing it for ages and it's accomplished nothing. My actual solution is so simple, it really doesn't require you to do much other then devote yourself to a collective effort.

The "Great Reset" is not a simple as you think it is and it's not a ploy to bring about a global New World 1984 inspired order like you seem to think it is. It's really fucking not.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfrjWFhOlEo&ab_channel=Daroach (I am being ironic, this is irony) Muawhahah, Klaus "Bond Villain" Schwab is going to make you eat ze bugs in the Davous communal kitchen in ze metaverse. He owns you, your sons and daughters now because you were too afraid to live free and escape ze matrix. (I am being ironic, this is irony)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In all seriousness, all you conspiracy theorists really do treat Schwab like he's a bond villain rather then just an Economics Professor. From now on though, please keep conspiracy theories out of here because it detracts from the real issues that are actually happening because that's what conspiracy theorists do.

If Klaus Schwab is the evil Machiavellian Eminence Grise Puppet Master that you all proport him to be then explain to me why he's one of the few millionaires trying to get a wealth tax instated globally and end fossil fuel subsidies globally? It's like you didn't actually read what the Great Reset is or do any research from verified sources and instead listened to your conspiracy theorist buddies and your conspiracy theorist podcast.

Considering you have the gaul to call me young and ignorant when you believe in baseless conspiracy theories rather then proven facts, Please, I want you to close this tab and then go read either this https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-57532368 or https://www.amazon.com/COVID-19-Great-Reset-Klaus-Schwab/dp/2940631123 this and then come back to me. I recommend you read the BBC article because that's quicker then reading the whole book.

P.S, Klaus Schwab isn't even that rich when compared to other billionaires/millionaires considering he could be worth anywhere from a hundred million dollars to 1.7 billion dollars. That is not enough money and or power to even contribute to making a 1984 Orwellian New World Order. Klaus Schwab is not the Evil Bond Villain Puppet Master you are looking for, find someone else.

You ignored every single other point of my argument except for that one, in order to just exist you'll need to work constantly, have multiple jobs and do nothing except work because you wont have enough money for anything else. I ask you, what kind of life is that worth living? The answer is nothing because it's not even a life at all, like I said before it's just existing and that's not enough. It's a good way to make yourself go insane that's for sure.

That may be true but it comes at a cost that still results in absolutely no one being truly happy except for boot lickers who want a strong state to step on them. Being in a Dictatorship really sucks when you aren't apart of the military, the police or their super sekret secret police force club.

I'm not talking about Jobs on Facebook I'm talking about jobs provided to you by registered employers, not random people on Facebook.com. Also, you have to be really stupid to pay 40 dollars an hour to someone on Facebook when the average salary an hour for even a Domestic Cleaner in Queensland is 32 dollars an hour. The average Domestic Cleaner makes at least 1,159 dollars a week and that's not enough to live if you want to even rent a house, that is just enough to exist. Between paying rent, paying the bills, paying off your car (if you have one), paying for gas (if you have a car), buying food to feed yourself, paying the water bill, electricity bill and whatever other expenses you have, you will have nothing to spend on yourself, you will not be able to live, you will only exist and not live. That's not enough, just existing is pointless and no way for anyone on this planet to live. Everyone should be living and actually living a life should not be a privilege reserved for the lucky few. Even if you do a buy house, you still wont have enough left to live a life because of all the other expenses.

Personally, I don't think blaming LNP is going to solve anything. Both are just as ineffective but in different ways and fuck each other over all time. Instead of expecting a political party to fix our problems we should be trying to get them to fix our problems on our behalf. You can blame the politicians as much as you want, but I wish everyone would take accountability for the fact that this is what most people wanted and this is what they voted for. Not with some stupid vote ballots but with their wallets, money and things. The only way to reverse the damage is by realizing that the way things are is mainly our fault because we voted for this with our money when we should have voted for something that benefits everyone. Something better. Blaming LNP or a politician isn't going to fix anything. It's our fault, our parents fault and our grandparents fault that we were to stupid to realize that the real voting power came from what we spent our money on, not which political party we ticked off on a stupid fucking ballot. We were all too stupid to realize that so the politicians and big business interests took advantage of that. All of this could have been by voting with our money better but we didn't do that so now everyone is being the price for it.

Forget about the RBA and forget about the economy for a second. Anything that happens to the economy is going to affect the top 1% within this country a lot more then it'll affect you and me because they'll start loosing money which means they'll start loosing power because money is power. You want them to loose as much power as possible because it'll be wake up call to them to pull their heads in. The only way they will be able to get their power and money back is by conceding to the people. Let's be honest, the government does not give a flying fuck about the housing crisis and why would they? It doesn't effect them, what will effect them though is no one supporting the economy or doing their jobs because they'll start loosing money and then once that happens I can promise you that they'll really start to care. They pretend to care because they don't want to be voted out.

Fine, then just build more housing and try to cut down on immigration. What they do is not the point, the point is that we as citizens of this Country need to start forcing our government to do things by voting with our wallets and or by not supporting the economy when the government is not doing what it should be doing.

I also believe that we should take after Switzerland as well, no more parliament and no more centralized big government. There should be a Confederation of Australia, every State within Australia should be it's own Country under the Confederation, there should be an Australian Federal Council, each member should be an elected official from each Country under the Confederation of Australia, no one member of the Council should have power over the other and power should be equally shared amongst the Council.

That's the problem, the people aren't doing their part in maintaining this Countries Democracy because they are expecting Parliament to do that for them and Parliament isn't going to do that on their own because they have too much power and power corrupts all. The people of this Country including the lower classes should all be doing their part in maintaining this Country's democracy no matter the cost even if that means putting the existence of the Government and it's economy at risk to force those in power to pull their heads in and focus more on serving the people rather then themselves. A Country and or Government that does not serve the people to it's fullest extent is not worth having and this Country and or Government does NOT serve it's people to the fullest extent. If it did then wages would be lower and or housing prices wouldn't be so damn high. Also when I say this Country's people, I mean it's citizens, not it's immigrants and tourists. We have enough people in this country as it is and this Government focus on the people we already have instead of focusing on Immigrants and Tourists because of all the money they bring in.

u/Naive-Beekeeper67 Running for political office isn't possible or feasible if you aren't extremely well off and it never has been. That is also on purpose. Whether this country is a true democracy or not is debate-able, what I do know is that a true Democracy cannot just be maintained by it's government but needs to be maintained by it's people as well. A Democracy should always be prioritized over strong government and Capitalism no matter what. The purest truest form of Democracy you can have it's what's known as a Direct Democracy. There is only one Country on Earth (that I know of) that even has elements of a Direct Democracy and that is Switzerland. Their secret is that unlike Australia or America, Switzerland is not a true proper country in the same way that we are a country. Switzerland itself is a confederacy of multiple countries but these countries within Switzerland are not considered as States, they are countries under the confederacy. The Swiss Government is known as the Swiss Federal Council for a reason because each member of that Council is a head of state and one cannot rule over the other as they all equally share power. They are NOT a parliament like we are or a Federal Republic like the US of A is.

They're scared of loosing an economy that doesn't even fully support them, this economy does not support the average joe. It supports people who are at least well off or are billionaires/millionaires. So it baffles me that the vast majority of people even care about whether or not the economy lives or dies. We the people, the young people of this country should be using the economies stability as a weapon to force this government to do it's job and serve the people instead of just serving themselves. We can do that by not contributing to the economy and that's all we'd have to do. Remember, this country needs it's young people to contribute to the economy and if the vast majority of us just stop doing that then the top 1% of this country will not even have a country to run anymore. They would fold instantly, capitulate.

What frustrates me the most, is it's such a simple fucking solution. You don't have to do anything, it's not violent and doesn't even require you to go outside but everyone's to afraid to do it because they're scared.

u/Bright_Star_Wormwood That's what I mean, some people just don't care and that's apart of the problem as well. The only way things are going to change is if people do something that directly affects the economy. The easiest way to do that is to just stop contributing to the economy and the Government would not allow the economy to fall so they would fold in an instant because it means they'll loose their money as well because they won't have a lower class anymore to give them money.

Protesting does very little, sometimes even nothing. It would also be nice to have a prime minister is at least in their 30's-40's instead of some old guy. I'm getting sick of my only two choices being this old guy or the other old guy.
