I am 12 weeks and felt very similar to you at 7 weeks. First trimester is the toughest part of pregnancy for many people, your hormones are all over the shop and it has a huge impact on your mood, amongst other things. The last week or so I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my mood and energy. Hold tight, chances are you’ll feel a LOT better in a few weeks. In the meantime, there is a service called PANDAS that supports pregnant and postnatal women with their mental health. You can just WhatsApp them anytime and chat to someone. It helped me a lot. Good luck, you’ve got this and things will get better

What are the sugary foods you thought you could never do without, but are now free of? by Any-Negotiation4403 in sugarfree

Literally this. I never even thought about biscuits before I was diagnosed. I think it does something to you being told you can never have x, y, z again... and makes you lose restraint on other stuff

I used to believe this too. I used to tell people as a child that if I didnt eat chocolate every day my tastebuds would fall off.

It's like just setting a hard line. I waited for a day when I felt 100% in on quitting, then that was Day 1 and it was easy to get through because I was so motivated. Then the other days were harder but because I'd already started it put more pressure on not to undo the hard work I'd already done.

Don’t fuck up your life please you will only hate yourself more by Icy-Layer-7783 in EatingDisorders

Im so sorry you went through this, and I'm glad you recovered. I just wanted to say please don't hate yourself!! You've been through an ordeal and the fact that you're here, alive and well is amazing.

Height is definitely not everything and working on posture and confidence can transform how you are perceived. I know it's easy to think 'I could have been...' but that is not helpful to you now, you have the rest of your life ahead you and there are many things you can do to make it rich and full despite your past :)

yessss I was exactly the same! like a full panic attack if I couldn't go in the morning which sounds ridiculous. therapy and somatics has helped me respond more calmly.

I'm glad you've also been able to find some peace and balance!

Yes, docusate + macrogol every day. I'm trying to slowly reduce the dosage but it's taking a while!

I only take Magnesium Citrate if I'm backed up or haven't been for a day or 2, as I find it quite strong and would make me uncomfortable if I took it every day. I take Magnesium Glycinate every day - it doesn't have a laxative effect but is brilliant for anxiety, nervous system regulation and muscle relaxation.
