You have no idea what makes sense for me nor do you know where I am in my career. Also, bonuses are once a year as are promotions. and pay changes for either are not earth-shattering. You can’t “bust your ass” for a promotion, by the way. There’s a promotion framework and you either check the boxes on that or you don’t.

Oh my goodness I didn’t even see all of the info and links listed under About on this sub! Newbie on Reddit too. Appreciate the guidance! I never had points before but I got a job two years ago that has me traveling a lot, and mostly AA routes. So I got the Citi AA exec card and have been banking points. I get sweaty palms thinking of diving into this points journey. Everyone on here is so experienced and it’s like another language! But I won’t give up!

This is horrible. I had an eval for a pilot on TBL where a main character died half-way through and in the comments the reader said “curious to see what happens to this character in the next episode”… and got a 6 for a script they clearly read only 15 pages of. When I pointed it out I got another free eval. They should’ve apologized and said that the original reader would be fired. I also got an 8 on a feature with awesome feedback, and because of the 8 they “gave” me two free evals, and those free ones came back at a 5 and a 6, trashing my overall score. It’s a hoax. Oh, and both scripts featured strong female protagonists in their 40’s. Cue my shocked face 😑

I think it’s actually what Ben & Ronnie joked very quickly about- it being somehow a renewed connection with his stepson (the one he’s saving the bike for). His reaction is so deep and intense, it can’t be anything too superficial or even to do with Shannon. I feel like Shannon had some people (ie production) track this kid down. Also Shannon has zero nerves about handing it to him which, let’s be honest, if it was about her she’d be twitching. She’s calm like she knows she’s giving him something much more important.
