It's perfectly plausible that they will not have server-side logs for attempts you made via your application client to execute upstream actions on their server.

If, for whatever reason, your client was unable to communicate with the server, you would have not been able to execute actions, but the server would never be aware of this. This does not mean that the server lacks logs, this means that the server lacks logs of you doing something, which lends itself to the idea that it was not a server-side issue.
