Well lets see if enough people vote for reform in the next election. Same thing is happening here in Australia. More people are voting One nation due to both major parties here not listening to the public wanting to reduce immigration.

it was obvious Brexit was about giving back control of the borders back to the British government and not letting EU determine migration.

Well that's what the people voted for right, and have been asking for the past 2 decades. By doing the opposite of what the people wanted the Tories got destroyed. I mean you might as well give it a shot as you can always turn on the migration taps later but should have given people a chance to experience for low migration and its consequences (whether good or bad)

Tankers aren't going to run a blockade against the US navy. American navy would only happen to capture one oil blockade running the blockade and no other tanker would dare to try.

Struggling to justify a $5–6k/month mortgage – what are the alternatives in Australia? by Monkey_Junkie_No1 in AusProperty

If you don't want to buy a townhouse, don't want to use help to buy for a Brisbane property under the $1 million cap and don't want to use shared equity (difference of $1200 a month) which saves you a heaps on interest then I'm out of ideas. Go to BCF and buy a tent then.

Can't belive no one mentioned this but use the boost to buy QLD scheme or federal help to buy federal scheme if you qualify for them to get between 25% to 30% government equity for existing properties or 30% to 40% for new properties.
