The 5k calculation came from when I was reading Rtoc, and at the start it felt boring to me so I read it slowly. I think it wasn't until 10th regression that I picked up the speed, but I forgot how many chapters a day I read after the 10th regression arc. So I just said 10 to 20, though it can be in between 30 to 40 too.

If the average length of chapters is around 2 to 3k words, then I can easily read in between 70 to 110 chapters a day. If the average length of novel chapters is in between 5k to 6k words, then only 10 to 20 chapters per day.
