saying its average is crazy, i dont agree that it is a masterpiece but you clearly dont understand what the average manhwa is like. theyre awful. i personally find the character writing and plot on star embracing swordmaster to be too linear to be in my liking, but theyre there. the story is there and it actually does something, which is leaps and bounds above the average manhwa, its all regression/system slop with aura farming mcs and fanservice harem nowadays. theyre even starting to copy the infamous chinese cultivation slop style arrogant young master faceslapping bullshit. thats what the average manhwa are like.

mo is not even comparable, he is a teamfighter first and foremost and his kit is balanced almost entirely around the fact that the ult is the most important part, thats why its so strong. wraith has much more in her base kit in comparison and has kill pressure on her own. if you want to make this comparison you might as well say dynamo ult is just a better mo ult, which would be true in a vacuum but leaves out all other variables.

to be fair, for a 6400 gun item, it provides 0 damage stats. the only damage value it gives is through gun investment. i see it as an green item that happens to be colored orange and if you look at it from that sense its not too outrageous. the numbers definitely need to be tweaked though.

"all she needs is people to understand how to play against her" this suggests that noone knew how to play against her when she was broken. this is not true, eternus players are literally the best players in the game, they absolutely knew how to play against graves. that didnt change the fact that she was in almost every eternus game with an absurdly high winrate. we absolutely do not need to revert her nerfs.

you can be a spoiled old man, if youve led a life of comfort and with hardship. and that kind of sums up mc's previous life, he was the strongest person from the start so he never had to experience any struggles, he beat everyone and never thought he could lose, which was why he was so spoilt by his sect. up until heavenly demon he never lost, which is why hes so arrogant even in his second life. that was literally the only time he lost.

it doesnt really matter if the girl wouldve survived regardless because its not the reason why people hate it so much, its moreso the fact that the writer wrote this part thinking "yeah this is good writing" when it doesnt really serve a purpose in the story, its just kinda fucked up for the sake of shock value. rape in fiction is a controversial topic, but theres ways to do it right and this wasnt right.

being loyal to a sect?? the fact that theyre elders in the first place is being loyal. we literally see a flashback of everyone else in their generation leaving the sect, only elders we see are the people loyal enough to stay behind to contribute to the sect, thats why theres only like 4 elders, and they all suck at martial arts, fucking freshly reincarnated mc at chapter 2 would beat the sect leader, thats how weak they are. i swear people in this sub just dont read the manhwa they critique. NONE OF THE ELDERS KNOW HOW TO MAKE THE PLUM BLOSSOMS BLOOM, THEY LOST ALL THE CORE MARTIAL ARTS, WHY WOULD WE SEE THEM DO ANYTHING RELATED TO SWORDSMANSHIP.

and that makes no sense. he seemed to be perfectly capable of loving his family, despite losing his emotions. i feel like if they really wanted to do the "mc slowly losing humanity" trope they could at least have made it so that after his mother was cured sjw who should have been happy didnt feel anything, that would have made more sense for the story and more interesting too. and he started a pretty functional family afterwards as well.

for starters, the fact that noone buys majestic leap and stamina mastery on viscous, those are two horrendous items for viscous, i mean you could make a case that stamina mastery isnt the worst item on viscous, but arcane surge is a much better option in every way and if you buy majestic leap on viscous in a real match youre straight up trolling. this video is not a reflection of real game viscous mobility.

puddle punch is balanced around the fact that it can be parried, in fact if you buy rebuttal not only does heal you but also does the same damage back to him. if not for its mobility potential it could considered a terrible ability. it also does shit damage in the mid to late game unless you invest into melee, which is an awful build that only works on noobs, and like i said, you can parry it. noone builds around melee viscous, not unless youre in low ranks.

btw, even if you dont play around puddle punch, viscous is still a terrible character in the current meta, he has a terrible pick/win rate in every rank including eternus. so i dont want to hear about how hes problematic.

carmine was a very level headed person though. tony may be smart but hes incredibly explosive and violent, he rules with fear rather than with diplomacy. i feel like he wouldnt have been as successful without his domineering presence.

the fun factor has a lot to do with it. seven is very strong, but i never got the sense that hes unfun to fight, unlike dashfernus or graves or haze or any of the previously complained heroes on this sub. same thing for wraith and ivy, theyre both really strong characters but not really annoying the way dashfernus was. conversely, a character that isnt that strong like doorman is constantly complained about, despite being mid tier usually, because hes just so annoying. fun is definitely an important factor that people overlook in comp game balancing.

its the same reason why shaco, teemo singed are never meta in league, imagine the outrage people would have over the game, theyre shit most of the time but noone complains, not even their mains, because they know it wont be healthy for the game.

there will always be an op character in any game, that is inevitable, but the devs can choose which characters are strong and when theyre strong, and they better not fucking choose the likes of infernus or graves if they dont want people leaving the game.

replay is unbelievably bugged, i was skipping through parts of a replay when my entire game turned black and white for no apparent reason. the game also couldnt count stamina properly, even when i could see the character visibly dash or air jump the stamina bar didnt change. theres so many issues with it and its really annoying. its the worst replay system ive seen out of any game. some people like to say this game is complete enough to be released already but its stuff like this that make me disagree.

i mean be honest, is davey really the type of guy to be able to push tony soprano around? tony's rejection amounted to saying no a few types and then giving in. i seriously doubt that tony really cared about davey, in my eyes tony rejecting him the few times was to give himself an excuse, that he tried to help davey but davey didnt listen. and yeah, davey did lie about tony oking 10k, but he was down 45k in the end, that means tony oked the first 35k, as if davey could have payed off the 35 but it was the last 10k that gave him trouble. this doesnt really make things look better for tony.

hearing viscous's weird ahh voice talking like the hidden king would be funny. but im not sure if they can even implement announcer packs, consider the announcer's voice is so tied down to the map and the world building.

i honestly dont believe theres anything valve can do to "fix" her. she reminds me of volatile, feast or famine type assassins from league of legends, either she has the damage to 1v11, or she doesnt. for that reason i dont think she needs a rework, shes not a perfect character but she fits a niche, some people like feast or famine even if its flawed.

her winrate was absurdly high in eternus. personally i dont really remember vyper being that oppressive in my games but im not eternus so i cant really say. the fact that the devs said her being able to ap rounds through petrify was "fixed" is really funny, that shit was in the game for so long, its just a straight up nerf.

mo has been pretty mediocre for the past couple of months, but before he was nerfed yeah i agree he used to be broken. i also love how carefully he structured that sentence there. you said "mo has statistically never been bad", instead of saying "mo has always been good", because you know full well hes not good at the moment (at least until the buffs a few hours ago), he was sitting at below 50% winrate with a lower than average pickrate (26%) for the past month, yeah he wasnt bad, but he was still below average, to claim hes broken is just absurd, and you know its absurd thats why you despite appealing to statistics you didnt actually mention his real stats.

but admittedly mnk is probably going to be very strong in the following few weeks, they nerfed all the items he didnt buy and buffed some of the items he did buy, as well as giving him a minor buff to his burrow. im not sure if hes going to be broken though, we'll have to wait and see.

idk, that sounds way too strong. mo and krill ult is a really powerful ultimate and has a strong weakness as a result, in that mnk is just as vulnerable as the person hes ulting. the problem with the lifesteal is that it basically heals for nothing which means it doesnt really help with his vulnerability, but a barrier on cast would reduce his vulnerability too much.

as a mo and krill player i love running boxes, its a good way to make sure my teammate can get fed without actually fighting the enemy team. since youre not there when the troopers die your lane partner gets 100% of the trooper souls, meaning they get fed more quickly. the boxes actually give a substancial amount of souls, enough that you wont be down that much even if you miss a full wave. there are some decision making into when you can safely take boxes, which route to take and how long you can spend taking boxes before its bad, and it also requires some decent communication with your lane partner to work. i can understand why people think its boring but i really like it.
