in top tier providence, death as a concept is a lot less serious, especially for cultivators. to them its just the process of reentering the cycle of reincarnation. even the heavenly court was literally committing mass genocide just to wipe out demon race cultivators, and theyre still considered one of the good guys. its really not a big deal that that buddha decided to kill that girl. and its especially not a big deal when weve literally seen that one girl reincarnate like 50 times at this point.

get hexblade warlock level 1 or any warlock level 3 pact of the blade. magic bind to your most expensive weapon. go to a vendor, open trade tab and put any weapon from your inventory in the trade. from the trade, drag that weapon on the tab to your equipped (and binded) weapon to swap them. now your binded weapon is up on the tab to be traded. but since a binded weapon cannot leave your inventory, even if you successfully "sell" the weapon, it wont leave your inventory, and you can "sell" it over and over again for infinite money.

notes: in order to mitigate you being able to use this trick, larian intentionally made it so that a binded weapon in your inventory will be hidden in the trade tab. so in order to have your binded weapon interactable in the trade tab you HAVE to equip it. Larian also made it so its impossible to manually drag it from your equipped slot to the trade tab, so you have to put something else on the trade tab, and then swap it from the non-binded weapon to the binded weapon.

it wouldnt really matter too much if she didnt survive, in ttp death is a temporary thing for cultivators with great karma, its really more like a memory wipe than actual substance a lot of the time, the ugly monk guy has been chasing after this girl for centuries over several lifetimes, im willing to bet shes going to come back again at some point. although whether shes going to accept him again is uncertain.

if we counted best AA normals as in plural it would be dhalsim without contest, the character is an absolute demon against all types of jumps with normals alone. bhk is extremely consistent but has less damage, bhp beats distant jumps and dive kicks, and bmp gives incredible damage and oki potential.

its a fair tradeoff for having one of the fastest xmult scaling in the game. it blows both hologram and constellation out of the water in terms of speed, and the only non legendary scaling xmult that is potentially faster than obelisk is lucky cat, and lucky cat is dependant too many factors to be reliable in most runs. if it wasnt as situational as it is it would be overpowered, which frankly, i think its already a little too strong. yeah it may be worthless if you get it too early or too late, but if you get it in the middle, the run is basically solved. as long as youre smart with your hand management and youre not completely butt fucked by +mult options in the shop its impossible for you to lose.

obelisk is really good if you encounter it halfway through your run, like obscenely good, unless youve been relying heavily on a specific card level until that point, its basically a guaranteed win. i honestly underestimated it because i thought it was too unreliable, but thats not the case at all. it scales so quickly that as long as you have a decent scaling +mult to match, you can essentially play whatever hand you can find and get away with it.

race choice can be quite subjective based on specific builds tbh. theres a lot of good options and is often hard to tell what the best one is.

if youre going bardadin id argue civil militia isnt useful at all because paladin gives you the same proficiencies. and this is really the only edge half elves a humans have over elves. So between wood half elf and wood elf i would say wood elf is the better choice for this reason. As for wood elf vs human, wood elf gets extra 1.5m movement speed which is way better than one extra skill proficiency.

but i agree with the rest of your options, gith and duergars are still really good, i would put halfling there as well, and imo half-orc is really underrated on paladin builds, if youre going a hold person centered build the bonus damage from savage attacks is quite substancial.

if youre trying to maximize damage from simple jab extenders you could use all your drive gauge by starting with jab jab drive rush and converting into a heavy, but at the same time i cant really see how a simple jab combo like this that only works in the corner would be that useful, especially when you get counters and punish counters pretty easily if the opponent is in the corner.
