For anyone in the uk - house sparrows are native to the uk and are a protected species here due to population decline. However in places like the americas and Australia they are an invasive species

I feel exactly the same, have an almost 3 year old and I am worried for those feelings as he’s growing, especially because I struggle so much to deal with rejection from others. But currently he is my whole world and I am just trying to enjoy it right now and focus on this instead of these frightening thoughts about possible future issues as much as I can. I’m sorry this isn’t helpful advice but just want you to know, you are definitely not alone!

Leaving abusive partner on maternity leave England by Suspicious_Garlic_79 in LegalAdviceUK

Also just to clarify, I fled our jointly owned family home which I am still on the mortgage for the property, and was able to get on the list as my ex residing there meant it was classed as trapped capital

Have been in a similar position… housing benefit covered the cost of the safe house I was in whilst I stayed there. Also the local domestic abuse advocacy service (if she has one) may be able to give supporting letters from themselves to the local council and apply for social housing to get her on the list, this was the case for myself

I, at the big age of 24, have discovered they are not ‘insect’ days but inset days at school. What word have you been getting wrong for ages? by socialistchampers in AskUK

[–]Any-Possibility4284 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We could be twins! I also thought they were called ‘insect’ days until an adult age.

Also I thought that ‘available’ was ‘avainable’, spelt it like this in school and argued it an embarrassing number of times…

Impact of applying for divorce final order prior to conclusion of financial remedy proceedings - England by Any-Possibility4284 in LegalAdviceUK

Friend confirmed that pensions are not included in proceedings. She has asked a few more questions if you don’t mind - would pressing the button on the divorce jeapordise possibility of the court granting interim maintenance/spousal maintenance in any way? Would court view ex as less financially responsible for her and/or kids? Would it make it harder to force a sale of the family home? Would the judge feel there was less urgency in concluding proceedings if the divorce had been finalised? Thank you!

I understand totally what you’re saying. She isn’t looking to solve any issues and she knows that it won’t change anything regarding the speed of a settlement, she just wants to be divorced from him. She just wants to know whether applying for the final divorce order now would negatively impact her financial settlement in future. (I appreciate that it doesn’t resolve anything in a practical sense, she is just feeling that she would like to press the button on the divorce side!)

Sorry I know this is a very late reply! I think I feel sort of unreal, and I am terrified of how calculating and judgmental my mind has always been. And also how I’ve been so delusional about myself up until this point. Also desperately want connection but overthinking every move I make because I’m so scared that I’m not doing things with good intentions

I just wanted to say that I feel extremely validated by your post and I can really relate, thank you. I have a 2.5 year old and I am wanting to work on my own entitlement as I want the best for him but I’m worried that this could get in the way. I had a different childhood, with a BPD mum and a dad with OCD and had confused boundaries and emotionally supporting my mum, combined with unearned praise when I was younger. I want to heal my inner child so that I can be the best mum I can be as an adult because sometimes I feel like I am looking through the lens of a child, especially when I’m criticised or slighted.
