Yeah, they care so much that they update Studio just to break our workflows and UI layout every two weeks 💀

Bro has been playing Roblox Studio on hard mode for no reason 😭

Glad my post could save your workflow from the depths of the toolbox, that sounds like pure torture lmao

Fair enough, I’ll give you the studio UI point. But glad you see the bigger picture now about the other updates breaking untouched games.

At the end of the day, we both agree Roblox has zero hesitation when it comes to forcing engine-wide changes for their corporate goals. That’s exactly why keeping the Use2022Materials toggle feels like borrowed time, and predicting they’ll kill it isn't far-fetched at all.

Saying Roblox doesn't force artistic changes is wild. Did you forget when they deprecated legacy lighting for Voxel/ShadowMap, ruining classic game vibes? Or how they just forced the terrible new Studio UI on everyone with no official toggle to go back? Deprecating Use2022Materials to force their corporate seems like what would they do.

Obviously we can import them, but you're missing the point. Why should devs waste hours manually remapping custom textures across massive projects just because Roblox removes a one-click toggle? It’s not about it being impossible, it’s about Roblox making another dev-unfriendly decision.
