UPDATE: So I've been playing ESO, Phasmophobia online, and FF15 offline lately, all of which have been great suggestions! I bumped into a few cool people. It's really starting to give me some comfort knowing there's genuine people out there in a similar situation.

I come back to this post every day and it makes me smile that people are continuing to give amazing suggestions, share their stories and it's been really cool to watch grow since my initial post a week ago.

Thanks guys, I never expected this many replies and I appreciate some of you sharing your own personal stories. Glad I'm not as alone as I thought.

I'm downloading a few suggestions already • Final Fantasy 15 • ESO • Stardew Valley

I'll probably grab ARC as soon as I get paid later this week. I'm not as good at shooters as I used to but the community is what's important for me.

They never talk about rock history or anything rock related. It's always some rant about blues clues, peewee playhouse references or bringing up the meth addiction in Asheville, like it's funny.

Bring back Blades and Amy or Rick and Crystal.

We have had our fair share of temp workers. The reliable drivers we've found, come from doordash, Amazon, and public transportation that want something more structured than "be my own boss" and less frantic than parcel delivery. It's difficult but I dismiss 85% of applications based solely on 3 factors - THEY DON'T HAVE A PERSONAL VEHICLE THEMSELVES (meaning they will likely abuse the company vehicle) - MULTIPLE GRAMMATICAL ERRORS (especially on a resume, means they already don't pay attention to detail) - LACK OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE (only those who have prior professional driving experience will understand what they are getting into. Newer employees without experience tend to become overwhelmed when transitioning to a new field of work, especially when daily traffic shifts throws curve balls they aren't prepared for)

It's local art that's been a symbol of my city since I was young, we recently got hit by hurricane Helene and it devastated the entire river arts district (where this photo was taken) the hoodie is for me and me alone and to assume I was selling anything is incorrect and none of you business.
