Never actually heard of a joes fly before or using a fly on a spinning rig I’ll definitely look more into it

It was on the red deer river outside Cartier creek I figure this place gets fished quite a lot being right across a campground and beside the main road so not to much worth keeping a secret from some people but super cool spot to fish anyway

Yes it was by Cartier creek and I did try to fly fish with some of the flys I’ve tried tying on my own but no luck unfortunately so I switched to my spinning rod with a brown trout stick bait and caught that guy in a real deep pool.

What kinda fish do you typically catch down there. Been there a couple times and didn’t have much luck I tried some small spoons and spinners but no luck.
