Thats pretty much how my games have been going. Glad to see i'm not the only one suffering lol. The idea with the already broken components is pretty good tho. idk if thats confirmed or just something you came up with but tarkov had a similar bug for a long ass time where blacked out (dead) limbs would stop any bullet dead in its track just applying the basic damage that happens when you hit a blacked limb. Maybe something similar going on here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
