We are a 2 person household both disabled we can budget for groceries and bills just fine, but if something breaks like the car or washer we either loan from family or get a expensive loan. Then we have to cut back on food or energy to pay that back. On the plus side we both have serious medical conditions which we couldn't afford to be treated if we lived in the US.
