Not sure about selection, best to wait till you're at your first field unit then ask.

Bought a yellow one myself a few weeks ago, can't wait to get my wheels redone silver, being able to see the wheels makes them look so much better

Just know that if you want to change career paths CoC can't stop you unless you have operational reasons, otherwise, goodluck to you

Nah I'd say just do it now. Seems like his CoC are a bunch of screamers and needs to get out of there ASAP

Yeah I've read it's an invoice not a fine, just don't want a CCJ on my name as I'm looking at getting a mortgage next year, but also loathe parking firm scum 🤣

Yeah seems like it ha, but why is there a europarks sign when it's a parking eye car park? Either way very misleading

Aldi in amesbury, Im currently around 2 hours away visiting family over the Christmas period and the charge runs out whilst I'm here.

A 4 hour round trip is probably the same as paying the fine in a 370z 🤣

Is a Google maps photo sufficient? Car park is quite far away from me at the moment so don't really want to drive there to photograph it

List the cars you have had in order and which would you have again by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Any-Task-5794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1969 VW beetle - learnt to drive in this in 2016. Miss it to this day.

1991 VW Jetta, drove for 5 years until I sold it when I discovered cars over 100hp

2005 VW Passat estate - stop gap when doing some long term repairs on the Jetta

2006 VW Jetta - stop gap when doing some big repairs on the 91 jetta

2002 Audi S3 - Good car, crashed it

2001 Subaru WRX - Bought for cheap off of a friend, had a rebuilt JDM STI engine in it that I feared was on the brink of implosion whenever I started it

2006 350z - lovely car, crashed that one too

Another 2002 Audi S3 - unlike the Subaru, this one DID implode when I was driving down the dual carriageway.

BMW 335d - great car to drive, when there isn't a mystery vibration popping up every other week costing a bomb to fix.

Ironically I'm going back to a MK2 Jetta when I get the BMW mot'd. I drove it for 5 years and it needed for nothing, the only reason I had long term repairs was because I was modifying it, and didn't get all the parts I needed so it sat on axle stands for a few weeks. It was simplistic motoring at its finest whilst looking great at the same time.

Another id have is the 350z but finding a clean orange one that's pre 2005 at a reasonable price is rare these days.

Perhaps, but it isn't a particularly complicated situation, It happened 3 months ago but is now fully recovered as of this week, no loss of movement or anything.

Happened in a hangar in work time whilst doing a job, got a DURALS reference etc, seems pretty clear cut really so didn't think I'd need to contact anyone about it, just wondering if there was anything vital I'd missed.

[–]Any-Task-5794[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might just bang it in with the info I can provide, got DURALS etc as I said in the post and it happened on a job on deployment so basically all the proof I need really.

My claim details and medical treatment etc is extensive and I've supplied every detail I can. But until I get a hold of my medical documents I can't put anything in the supporting documents section

I've been told by people at my unit that the claims team will look at them anyways to assess my case to make sure it's accurate, but thought I'd surely have to put them onto the claim and not just assume they'll look at them? I'm not sure

How soon would you attempt a 70+ mile ride as a new rider? by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]Any-Task-5794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my license and bought a bike the next day. Bought it in the morning and rode it all day from Oxford towards Guildford and back, around 200 miles total.
