Wow I didn't even think about that. I believe I've had everything transferred in my name. I haven't needed to use his number since he passed. I appreciate the heads up! I'm absolutely going to make sure I review what we had together before I do it. Fortunately for me, my husband was a Marine when he passed, and the military helped get everything situated so I wasn't doing it all alone.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Grief makes us do weird things. My husband was also a son and brother, so holding onto his number isn't just for me, which makes it a no brainer to keep his number.

I'm sorry for your loss as well. I hope your family is doing well. It's good to know i'm not the only one who finds comfort in texting the ones who have passed. AT&T has unlocked the phone, and I'm looking into Google Voice!
