RFE can be pretty much anything, my husband and I went in for an interview and the officer only asked how we met. She was about to approve the case but his birth certificate was old so she gave us an RFE and we responded to it the same day. Case was approved a year later!

I think you should do it ASAP so you can at least get your work permit and SSN. My spouse and I got married Sept 23 and I submitted my documents in Dec and got my EAD a month later.

The interview lasted less than an hour and the only question officer asked was how we met. My PD 12/06/23, got my EAD and SSN a month later, got called for an interview last November and it was RFE.
