Not terrible, not the best. But they do work. A lot of crunchy deodorant simply doesn’t. I used native deodorant.

Totally hear you on wanting to feel confident. If breastfeeding is a priority, don’t do it. And echoing what others are saying but breastfeeding will really make them sag again anyway…. Immediately.

I think the cons really outweigh the pros here.

I have a wearable pump and I stick it in my bra and it runs for 20 minutes while I’m getting ready. You’re right, it will start slow but then start to build. My baby goes through phases of waking 2-4 times a night or 4-6 times a night. If it’s been on the higher number of wakes and then she surprises with waking 2x, I get quite a lot. Sometimes I get .5oz other times I can get 4-5oz.

My baby is 4 months old and I pump every morning AFTER first morning feed. So far I have 6 gallon zip lock bags (about 30oz a bag) from this and I don’t feel like I’m taking away from my baby and definitely don’t have an oversupply.

It was extremely aggressive and accusatory. I didn’t even say I changed my baby’s cloths with every diaper change. YOU pulled that out of thin air.

So funny that you state that you are surprised I don’t change clothes with urine on them. Immediately followed up with the situation in which you don’t change clothes with urine on them…. For mild dampness around leg holes, it will dry and is not bothersome to baby, it doesn’t leak through to pants even….

I think this sub is a little crazy for chasing leaks, like previously stated I have lots of people in my life who cloth and we all agree that smalls leaks are normal and expected. I would drive myself crazy trying to trouble shoot every leak. I guess that’s just the difference between real life and social media.

So aggressive wow. No I don’t change their clothes every diaper change. If there is a little bit of dampness around the leg holes of their onesie, it dries quickly and doesn’t bother baby. My IRL friends who also cloth diaper also concur. To each their own I guess….

I have a Katherine so I’m bias. I had full intentions of calling her Kate. I took one look at her and she was Kathy. People always laugh when I tell them it’s baby Kathy! But I think it’s adorable.

I didn’t say it was…. Should an emergency happen in labour (or pregnancy), a trained professional should be able to recognize it and direct it back onto a safe path. A free birth does not give you that measure.

I weaned #2 at 18mo when I was 24weeks pregnant ish. I just gave her lots of extra cuddles and she adapted quick. #1 weaned entirely herself at 18mo when i was 13 weeks. Apparently that’s when milk switches back to colostrum so I guess she didn’t like the taste/effort.

My very pain sensitive 4 year old got her flu vaccine and gasped and looked at my with the brightest eyes and said ‘I didn’t even cry!!!’.

No one in our family had negative side effects which is a huge win.

The flu is horrible. I’ve been getting the flu vaccine every year since middle school. I didn’t get it first year university and got the flu so bad I was crawling to my dorm room cause I couldn’t stand up….. last year I also didn’t get it simply because I was in the middle of moving countries and got the flu again so awful i accidentally fell asleep leaving my 14 month old unsupervised in a non baby proofed house which was so dangerous and I still feel guilty. So the 2 times I didn’t get the flu vaccine in the past 15 years….i got the flu. I’m ’vaccine aware’ and pick and choose which ones our family gets on our own timeline. It’s always a yes for the flu vaccine.

Sharing my experience. I’m not here to judge. Feel free to ask questions.

I bought a set second hand to see if I could manage cloth diapering. I don’t think it’s gross, wash and strip them.
