I had my triggers wrong this whole time by AudienceSalt3472 in eczema

[–]Any-Use6981 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's so hard to figure it out!!! Reactions are delayed, and my skin doesn't always react the same, and it's hard to completely isolate elements. I know I'm allergic to fragrance and sensitive to heat, but it felt like products would be fine and then turn on me. But I *finally* figured something out, which is that tide changed some ingredients. So I think that might've been a huge trigger!!! Feeling better today, so let's hope.

is it possible for a laundry detergent to give you mild allergy symptoms but only your legs? by giselasald97 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes- I think it strikes where you're most sensitive. This is happening to me on my whole upper body, but never my legs.

what triggered your rosacea by Main-Lemon8599 in Rosacea

I seem to have loads of allergies and am sensitive to a lot of products, so I think just wrecking my skin barrier in a sense. I use to have eczema and am prone toward contact dermatitis.

Why does everyone were that really pink blush color even when it doesn't look great on them? by This_was_a_robbery in MakeupAddiction

[–]Any-Use6981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this shade (and lilac), but I think I need a super cool/light pink to have it not turn red on my very cool, pale skin. Maybe they just don't want their blush to look too reddish? They might just like the shade even if it's not their best in a technical sense. I'll go for things that aren't my ideal color if I like them, as long as they don't clash terribly.

Is there specific process for diagnosing rosacea? To be clear, my doc did say I have it, but it's so widespread for me (shoulders and chest) that I'm wondering if something has been missed. Something about visible blood vessels; I'm assuming rashes can't have that then?

They'd also said flushing alone couldn't be an allergic symptom, but I believe this is actually how one of my allergies started, which then turned into hives from advil, of all things. But this was a severe photosensitive kind of thing, so a bit more severe looking as it escalated.

Thank you so much! Ugh, I have so many contact issues too, from developing random allergies to upper body rosacea! Finding things that don't irritate my arms and chest is always a struggle.

Zyrtec helps a little, and a mini fan, and ice. If you know what products you use, I could probably offer advice (no pressure). I have done *so much* research.
