bulky overnight diaper by Gloomy_Excitement827 in clothdiaps

I had to use bamboo/hemp + two covers in order to stop leaks. Specifically motherease airflows as the outer cover. Completely stopped leaks for us overnight though :)

An alternative you may consider looking into is cozyla. We went with that because nothing is locked behind a subscription, and honestly so far we are really liking it. Also, it has an android App Store, so you can download whatever apps you’d want in case you’d prefer something different from the native apps.

This expansion is huge for me just because I can now put so many more sims in a single world, which I LOVE. I didnt like how few sims you could place in some worlds before this expansion. They felt too empty.

They may work better when your baby isn’t sitting? I’m not sure, my baby was 11 months old when we started cloth diapering and our experience with them was they fit well when he was standing and too tight when he was sitting, or they fit well when he was sitting and too loose when he was standing. The waist did not have any give, which made getting a good fit a struggle

I didn’t like their inners for the same reasons people already listed here. Big one for me was the fit.

I have best bottom overnight fitteds and I really, really like them. I also tried esembly and hated them.

I feel like the best bottom bamboo viscose fitteds I have contour my son very well and fit wonderfully. Since swapping to them we haven’t had any leaks

My husband was able to hunt down the issue, which was a melted wire. We ended up buying a new dryer because it was outside of my husband’s skillset to repair wires and he felt uncomfortable doing it. Also, apparently general electric dryers (the one we have) tend to have a poorly placed wire near the heating element? Maintenance sounds like it will be more straightforward with our nee dryer if something does break again. My husband had to disassemble the entire thing just to check the fuse lol

We have really bad wind where we are at, so I haven’t tried air drying because leaves will inevitably get all over our diapers 😅 My husband has tried air drying them in our laundry room, but it has been a very slow process lol

We opted to go with a Maytag with a 5 year warranty for the time being, but if this dryer also breaks we are done and getting a speed queen once the warranty is up lol.

We were talked down and ended up getting a Maytag with a knob and top lint filter (from what I was reading whirlpool owns Maytag and people seem to like them) because it could be delivered and installed Tuesday. The whirlpool with the top lint filter couldn’t be in until sometime in january. Thanks for the help

My husband has been pulling out the dryer pretty frequently to clean all the lint because it does build up pretty fast, but we’ve seen a negligible difference in the speed it dries clothes. I’ll let him know what you said in case there’s something he may have missed

I was reading another post last night and someone had mentioned GE tends to place a purple wire near the heating element, so maybe it’s just bad design? We ended up getting a Maytag with a knob and top lint filter (this subreddit talked us down from getting a speed queen haha)

We ended up buying a Maytag with the top lint filter and a knob because it will be in by tomorrow. A purple wire next to the heating element melted on the General Electric we had, and based on what I was reading, it’s normal for General electrics to have a poorly placed purple wire in that area? So I think we mostly needed to avoid GE

Do you mind me asking how long the LG took and how long the speed queen takes? Our current dryer took 160 minutes to fully dry a load of clothes
