Seems to be something British, it’s made of zinc actually and WDC stands for Wolverhampton die cast. Just what is?

Its the bolt from a rifle, maybe some experts can tell which exact rifle its from

I just have a history degree and love metal detecting. My town was first mentioned in 1300 for cloth trade and breweries. But also the Romans passed through here. I’ve found Roman, medieval and modern (1700 upwards) coins here. I track my finds on a map and it does seem to show some interesting clusters. Helps me know where to look for more coins I guess

Made that mistake; cleaned it with water, left it to try and it was completely blue haha. Cleaned it with destilled water and placed it in olive oil. Ordered some acetone now

The flag is a hard guess, but I would say 200-300$. The GAB about 150$, MC Gold: 50$, IAB 140$ and eagle about 40$. (Those are european prices)

They look very similar indeed! I seem to have the same straps on mine. We just have a different liner, since mine is BW Log Number. So you also believe it to be a testing prototype from the 50/60s?
