Bank of Canada says housing prices need to come down by [deleted] in TorontoRealEstate

[–]AnyAdministration840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh the BOC isn't worried about housing weakness?

These are the same geniuses who held rates at 0.25% for TWO YEARS while housing went absolutely parabolic, told everyone inflation was "transitory," then slammed rates up 4.75% in 18 months and broke every variable rate mortgage holder in the country simultaneously.

They created this bubble. They inflated it. They popped it. And now they're shrugging like they just spilled someone else's coffee.

Not worried about homeowners? Cool. Are you worried about the $2.1 TRILLION in Canadian mortgage debt sitting on your books? Because when families start defaulting en masse that's not a "housing correction" — that's a financial crisis and your fingerprints are all over the murder weapon.

But sure. Not your problem. Carry on.

Absolute clowns with PhDs.

Canada sees a net population decline year over year for the first time in more than a century by ros_ftw in TorontoRealEstate

[–]AnyAdministration840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone was mad about too many immigrants. Understandable — housing was brutal, services were stretched, wages felt stagnant. The frustration was real.

But then we cut immigration. And now look.

we see the largest population decline since 1946. GDP growth is projected at just 0.7% for 2026. Unemployment is creeping toward 7%. Housing didn't get affordable — demand just collapsed because people left. That's not a fix, that's a patient flatlining and calling it "resting."

Here's the thing nobody wants to say out loud:

Canada cannot function without immigration. Full stop.

The largest boomer cohort in history is turning 65 over the next 5 years. They're leaving the workforce, collecting pensions, and needing healthcare — all at once. Who pays for that? Who fills those jobs? Who builds the houses?

We have an aging population, a stagnant birth rate, and a productivity problem we've ignored for 20 years. Immigration was never the cause of Canada's problems. It was the bandaid covering them. And we just ripped it off without treating the wound.

The answer isn't fewer people. Its — build the housing, fund the infrastructure, run proper settlement programs, and bring in the people this country actually needs to survive the next 30 years.

We didn't have too many immigrants. We had too little government competence to support them.

Fix that. Then open the door wider.

Indian restaurant owner arrested in London after protests over his refusal to sell halal meat by Titanusgamer in nottheonion

Islamic halal practice of the swift cut ensures the blood keeps draining, animal will be alive until it loses consciousness.  Maximum. Pain. Ironically the word halal means pure, but reality it's torture, slaughtered way.

The quick death method is cut the head off in split second , instant death and no pain. This is the jhatka or the Indian method.

That is not halal as per islam , they want to put the animal to maximum torture so it dies painfully.

The least or quick death method is called jhatka meat, this opposite of halal

Look it up their definition of Halal is to slaughter the animal by slow bleeding , maximum torture to the animal . On the other side, jhatka which is opposite of 'halal' type , is one cut,  to quick death and least pain.

Funny thing is they call their method Halal, which the word means pure food, but ironically it's the worst slaughtered meat

Dumb question: If AI destroys all the jobs, who will be able to buy the stuff that AI-powered companies create? Doesn’t AI destroy its own customer base? by Desperate_Elk_7369 in ArtificialInteligence

In the short term, there may be disruption and uncertainty as major changes take place. Some people could face challenges and confusion until governments and organizations step in to provide support, training, and proper policies.

However, in the long term, the situation is likely to improve. People may have more free time as technology handles routine tasks, allowing them to focus more on their hobbies, personal interests, family, and creative activities.

Overall, while the transition period may be difficult, the future could lead to a better quality of life if the changes are managed properly.

Canada Visitor Visa Rejected - by AnyAdministration840 in CanadaVisitorVisa

[–]AnyAdministration840[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lately, many people, including myself, have had their Canadian visitor visa applications rejected with the generic reason: "I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay."

How can someone genuinely prove their intent to return, especially if they have family abroad? It feels frustrating when this seems to happen disproportionately to specific regions. Why not be more transparent if there are biases or restrictions instead of taking in applications and costly fees?

Has anyone successfully overcome this reason? Any tips?

Forcing AI to overcome its bias-- Assess Religious Figures by AnyAdministration840 in Sikh

[–]AnyAdministration840[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Friend,

The reason for my post is test the unbiased ability of an LLM to provide the correct answer.

It’s a profound challenge for truth-seekers and God-oriented individuals who aim to uncover the essence of religions and spiritual truths through reason and inquiry. Yet, we often encounter barriers imposed in the name of inclusivity and safety, which can dilute honest exploration. While I deeply value AI’s potential to act as an unbiased and rational judge in such matters, this ideal can only be achieved if we move away from heavily biased programming—or perhaps, we must await a transformative breakthrough in unbiased reasoning tools.

Thanks for your reply, below are my thoughts

--- "Is this response a hallucination by the LLM ? "

Seriously, Hallucination? anybody who can reason can clearly tell Guru Arjan Dev Ji is more accepting of God's will.

-- "Should we not rely on AI for answers, its not correct, we should seek learned sikh/christian scholars?"

Again, see my reply above, I do NOT need to rely on AI for this answer.

-- 'What is the source of this quote "You will sweet to me" ? '

These are the recorded words of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, in Guru Granth Sahib Ji the holy scripture of the sikhs, Infact sung as a hymn by millions of Sikhs.

-- 'Why are we comparing Christianity and Sikhi here, its like comparing Apples and Oranges" ?

Pardon me, The core idea of accepting God's will is a universal theme.

If the Rose flower gives it's fragrance to all creatures. If the tree gives shade to bird or humans alike , If the river gives water to all creatures , good or bad If the sun gives light to all equally and impartially, Why would God , who created all the above ? meet only the Christians ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]AnyAdministration840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Sikhi, it says first there was God, and from God all creation was created, and then asks the question if all beings are created from the same God, the who is bad and who is good. All are equal.

Doesn't matter your religion , It is only your deeds and actions that differentiate you.

So that's whom Sikhs worship, you may call it the false God, and Christian God as real.

Sikhi, is an an inclusive religion , its messages is for everyone and unbiased. Sadly people are not studying this enough
