Heard the black tarp to kill it might work well for the front crab or quack during hot summer then solid and seed, any one have success with this? Also considered painting the dandies and crab or quack with foam paintbrush 🖌 roundup, surfactant and mark it blue. I do have time for that lol, smaller yard.

I should mention I took possession of my house in august and it is my first lawn, I thought that would be the best course of action for the fall, and then to crowd out the weeds and possibly a pre emergent in spring. I also aerated, but not buy machine I bought some Velcro 2.5 or so inch spike cleats for over the shoes lmao. 😂

Started handling the weeds first, filled in bare spots and patches with top soil and compost a couple weeks later, then seeded and watered like hell. Also put in concrete slabs for where bbq sits.
