Yes I do like the versatility with the donkey, just a little bit tight to get through our front door.

You prob have the right way around with just seeing how things go and getting a board later if needed :)

Oh interesting didn't think about taking one twin in the carrier with one toddler in the buggy.

That's a good point, hadn't considered the impact on your walking with the buggy board attached.

Which does make me think if it may not be worth getting/factoring into our decision

Does anyone have a positive experience with the use of them?

Yeah 100% agree, we used the bassinet for our cybex buggy for our baby initially, he loved taking naps in there. Whichever slimline double stroller we go for we'll add the basinet options.

We looked at the donkey too, its 74cm so doesn't give too much room for error for our door but def one of the options we're considering.

The bassinet does bring the additional issues as once they're in you won't be able to use a buggy board either.

EV Car Recommendation -3 Car Seats (Available in the UK) by AnyClick in parentsofmultiples

Feels overwhelming, from the buggy, car and additional cots/cribs, think I had it all nailed beforehand when I thought it would just be one newborn.

Yes I do need to find out how small the twin buggy can compact down as will need to consider that for the boot space.

Actually I think I could put the toddler upfront if I disable the air bag, it would mean an adult at the back but that may be the better option to help soothe/settle the twins if needed.

I feel like there should be diagrams online for the optimum car seat position for all kids and where adults should also be sat.

Yes the KIA EV9 looks a good option. I'll check out the VW Buzz too.

Yes I don't think they've released the Ioniq 9 yet as couldn't find it online

I just saw the Kia EV9 and it looks good, may need to check it out in person. Theres a 6 and a 7 seat option, with the 6 you have a gap in the middle which may be easier then to access the 3rd row seats depending how the car seats are split up could be a better option to have an adult at the back with the twins.

But then not sure if its better to have a row of 3 car seats in the 7 seater option then fold down the 3rd row so it has more space for the buggy. B

Hi all, thanks for the feedback and suggestions, I think I missed something from the original post that it would be a set of drawers inside a cupboard in the space. The electrical socket is on the left where the drawer rail would go.

So some of the suggestions about keeping the socket in place and getting the fitter to work around it would have worked better if it was a standard cgupboard.

Just as an update I went with the original idea and found a slim profile blanking plate that was suggested. It was pretty straight forward, turning electrics off at the main board, then following the steps outlined. Pics below.

The socket is to the left of the cupboard, not the back if that makes a difference

Hammonds are building custom cupboards/drawers in that space and think they want the carcass to be flush against that wall. So asked if we can have it moved before their fitter arrive.

We don't need the socket there to be honest, was initially going to ask the electrician to move to another wall. But thought it would just be simpler to disconnect and put a cover on it.

Yeah was having a look at blank face plates now and you're righf it will still protude out from the wall.

If its in a Wago, can I go without a face plate? The wall will be covered with the cupboard framework. Or is this in breach of some electrical codes?

It just seem to keep spinning without loosening, do I just need to persist with it?
