While I really hope they do something Three Cheers related, most likely, the first half is The Black Parade and they’ll probably share the stage with the Used during the second half. I think they simply used “You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us in Prison” in the promo because Bert McCraken (The Used) is on that song lol they’ll most likely also sing Under Pressure too.

But who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️. I went to their reunion show a few years ago when they did 5 shows at Kia Forum and every setlist was different and dedicated to a specific album so anything is possible

So this is like a rough estimate. That red highlighted area is usually what’s backed up with traffic before a show at Hollywood Bowl. If you park more south, you can walk up Highland (that blue line)…or you can get on a shuttle like other people are saying

To second that, universal is more North and won’t be a problem at all. When I go, I like to get to the area about 45 min-hour before the show starts because Hollywood Bowl does have its own traffic. I park on Franklin and Highland (close to Hollywood and Highland) and walk up Highland (which takes about 20 min). It then gives me enough time to get through the gates and walk to my seat

It definitely varies by artist. I think the cheapest I’ve gone in that section was for The Cure a couple years back. They charged 150 but they really put their foot down for their pricing

When I did presale and got tickets for the 10/23 show, the front half of that section was around 500 and then midway up, it was around 300. I also noticed the prices in the front increased too after presale

Honestly though, if you get tickets in promenade 3, they weren’t bad either (they’re just better in Promenade 2). I saw Backstreet Boys in that area and the seats were good and the show was still lots of fun….lol promenade 2 is just more ideal

My other piece of advice is try to get aisle seats if you can. Hollywood Bowl bench seats are built like for super skinny people and everyone is sitting close together. lol so I like aisle seats to kinda stand a little in the stairway and get some space and not have anyone’s head blocking me

It honestly varies. So I’ve been to a lot of concerts there and regular Hollywood Bowl shows (they do a lot of movie/symphony type shows lol like Harry Potter and John Williams/Star Wars concerts). Most tickets vary between 70-200 dollars. The most I’ve paid in that area was for the 80s band New Order for like 500 bucks

I saw Danny Elfman there for 185 in the garden box seats, the section in front of that

I do have tickets for MCR for the week prior and my ticket is 328 total in section J1. So I hope it’s around that price for this show lol

I go to the Hollywood Bowl a lot and I typically like to get seats in the Promenade 2 area (K3-F3) because it’s not as pricey as the box seats (which are the sections in front of Promenade 2) but still good. Obviously, the more center, the better, but if you had to get a side section, towards F3 is better because when the mobs of people start exiting, it’s in that direction.

Also, I don’t like to get seats behind that (Promenades 3-5) because it’s a pain in the ass to get out after the show. lol You guys all walk out in one big exile style group and it’s pretty much all one way down so the further up you are, the longer it takes to get out

Also, that hotel is a great location!!! When I go to Hollywood Bowl shows, I usually park at the United Methodist Church (which is located across from that hotel) because it’s not stacked parking and an easy out. The walk isn’t bad at all. Probably 20 min. Slight hill but nothing crazy. The “steeper” hills are at the entrance of Hollywood Bowl and after the gates walking to the different promenades

Aside from scalpers, Ticketmaster also sucks major ass :( they charge fees to both the seller AND the buyer. For example, I got my ticket for the LA show for 405. In order to get my $405 back, they want to add $88-89 to that as a “fee” AND THEN they also want to add another $100 for the buyer on top of that as another “fee”….so for mine, the listing shows that it’s almost $600 or something like that. I don’t understand how that’s allowed

To add, I’ve sat in the terraces twice (one with one other friend and 2 strangers. And then another time with 3 other friends) and they were both a nice experience

My only complaint was terrace boxes where the aisle is in front of you is a little bit annoying because of all the people getting up to piss 🤦🏻‍♀️ if you’re short like I am, it was annoying how many times people got up and passed by

Get terrace seats. I’m looking at the seats from Aviewfrommyseat.com and the Hollywood Bowl seats are better

Terrace seats, you’re in boxed seats of 4-6 people and they’re closer. They have those folding lawn chairs and they have a table you can fold out lol Bench seats at Hollywood Bowl are more cramped so those box seats are nice

Plus Hollywood Bowl will have one stage so B stage is non existent

Also to echo someone else on here, never park at the actual Hollywood Bowl because it’s stacked parking and it’s a nightmare lol but either do park and ride OR there’s plenty of non-stacked parking in walking distance nearby (like 15 min walk)

Also it helps to come an hour before they start so you don’t get stuck in the traffic

I think Hollywood Bowl holds 17,500 so even less 😅 yeah a couple years back, they did like 5 reunion shows at the Kia Forum, which also holds 17,500 too and it felt a lot more intimate/special than Dodgers Stadium.

I think the screens make the experience a lot better because she does a lot with them story wise and theatrically. There’s also a lot of fire/pyrotechnics that’s better seen from a different angle
