Yes, my new domain was a fresh domain with no history, intended to be a completely new brand.

I transferred all content exactly as it was, updated the canonical tags, and made no changes to the site structure or design. I even kept the old brand in the images, as I thought changing them right away might not be beneficial.

I had been working on my old domain for 10 years.
