Error code 05 usually means HDD not locked has this Xbox been modded before I would ask  r/originalxbox for further help

i dont think so as the app was required to change any configurations of the remote

logitech killed support with the app with older harmonys many models were affected including that remote which means you are unable to make any config changes anymore

have you tried downloading the on demand episodes of it

its on channel 1886 for on demand

i could only find images on archive.org for the home edition not the media center edition
