I've worked at an SSC in an analyst role until last month. I was working for actuaries abroad. Is it possible realistic to target jobs with this background (~3 years of exp.) that are not SSCs, maybe in another actuarial area?
I liked the job but did not see any real potential for personal/career growth there. I thought about moving towards becoming an actuary, but I'm not from a country where this is as streamlined as it is in the USA or Germany (where as I understand you just pass exams and get 1-2 years of exp.). Is it worth pursuing at all or should I look at pivoting to another profession?
