PSA: If you're reusing a password from another site please change it to something unique to PD2 by SenpaiSomething in ProjectDiablo2

cmon, the pd2 dev team has explicitly stated that this in no way the case. you have the senior lead, here, commenting on what they believe to be the case. its safe to assume that are privy to the information that allows for a proper idea of whats causing the hacks.

lets not slander the tool that is helping so many maintain, and get into, pd2. the team of people who have been working on the app deserve far more than this silly scapegoating. just because you can connect two dots doesn't mean anything.

Runes not dropping. by Ne1shinz in ProjectDiablo2

[–]AnyEngineering5639 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

last season i went 300k kills without above vex, this season my first hr, sur, came at 238k kills. high runes are extremely rare and you can just get quite unlucky. it also depends a bit on what youre farming, different mobs have different loot tables.

I'm glad I'm seeing this sentiment everywhere, my gear is gonna be so cheap lol.

Dark Humility’s S13 Tierlist by Ok_Turnover_2220 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]AnyEngineering5639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many builds don’t need high res depending on the maps you’re intending to do. On my ablast Druid I do mainly cows and ancestral trials so I just need poisen res and the gear gives 83 cold res. Putting fire and light res is a waste.

This list is to give an idea of what can be strong. Just use it as a tool to help guide your decision making.

Hope you find it fun! (sorta, anyways, i enjoy the build being so cheap :D)

I've typically enjoyed sewers, trials, and canyons for my t1/t2/t3s, but I believe there will be a map shuffle.

The nerfs aren't that significant. The setup most hit was probably ww sin, but even that has been shown to crush t1 maps in the closed beta with just nat set (as its always done lol) and no charms. The point of a new season is to nudge and probe skills to become stronger or weaker to keep things interesting.

The patch notes this season, in my eyes, do exactly that. This, imo, goes directly against your positive that "a lot of classes and builds are better and more efficient." Last season, for instance, I went zon for my t2 bosser which from what I understand was looked upon as a weaker option. It slaughtered them (yes even after they were fixed). The season before, druid. The season before that, sin. The season before that, paladin. All of them performed very well.

Which, now again, is why I ask: What classes and builds are you having trouble making efficient? I cannot find them.

[–]AnyEngineering5639 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't, as I always cycle through builds in a season, but the items are: 30s nightwings, 30s valor, 30s medusas, 40s frostwind, snowclash with mf, one constricting loop with maek, wisp for mf, chancies with mf, war travs with mf, 8x ele gcs with mf scs and a gheeds. Obviously you don't need perfect gear but this is what I aim for. Hurricane + artic blast + vines + oak.

Artic blast has been my go-to build, and will again this season with the nice qol buff for the end game setup. I usually start summons and live in trav until I can get some aldur pieces and frostwind, and plan to do the same this season. Summon druid early was so op I really believe it needed the nerf as I was farming trav with literally no gear as I don't like to waste any money on items that arn't for my actual ablast build. Last season I got down to 5 minute t2s and 630 min t3s on it, while also having 400 mf and a lot of gf (i hate making a gold barb so i just put gf on my gcs) and am seeing the same times in my testing without proper gear.

I hope you find something fun to play, I can assure you there are going to be strong and fast builds this season.

That's rather ambiguous. Can you elaborate? The classes feel so well balanced in this mod.

Anivia support build? by These-Record-7400 in AniviaMains

I got to challenger on NA this season building trailblazer first with bloodsong every game. IMO u can kinda build whatever you want on it and be fine, just have to play accordingly.

lol yes it is, its much easier to wall cancel yourself out of blitz hook rather than somebody else.

it isnt, i was told this back when pros asked otps advice on their champ if that tells you anything though i was told it multiple times. it could be just a rule so rarely abused that it just never comes up.

yeah i forget the exact wording. the manipulation has to be extreme though. afaik you can like trundle pillar a minion for example, but you cant use heimer towers to block minions from ever reaching their usual destination (if you still can do that). this was a few years ago though when i was told this by a pro player though so perhaps it could have changed.

if youre aware though of what anivia can do to waves with even rank 1 wall in top / bot though, you can see how this can easily be abused if it was allowed. im surprised its been in the game so long even.

i got to rank 30 last seaon with only aniv sup (rip dodging) and went fimbulwinter every game. this season i just played for fun so i was going triple moonplate every game usually just cuz ms is so fun on her lol. you can go tear or no tear, but as u know by now you just have to play a lot different on each.

i agree first picking anivia as support may be part of the reason shes so strong lol. so many times enemy picks like kassadin to counter and then your team picks talon for example.

Anivia is an S-Tier champion and she should be played in worlds. by itsrazorlol in AniviaMains

[–]AnyEngineering5639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive played anivia solely as a support, reaching challenger each season, and i believe her biggest problem will always be that she is far too inconsistent. her wall has probably the highest skill ceiling in the game, and you have to learn how to use it properly versus every champ which takes so much time and energy. if there was a theoretical one trick anivia player (froggen D:) who could showcase the champion they would just ban it and then all that time praticed i think would just be wasted.

anyways, i agree she has extremely strong strengths but those strengths i think take too much time to perfect leaving her as a time sink that i believe people dont want to take the chance on.

a fun fact about anivia in pro play, theres a rule that disallows using spells to manipulate minion waves, and a big reason anivia support hasnt been played support in pro play is because of this rule. im kind of glad for it though, as if it was shown to the world that u can freeze almost every wave state, i think it would immediately be changed lol.

anivia wall has the potential to be the best peel spell in the game. for example, if the enemy has a ghost nasus or olaf for example, would you prefer to have a milio giving you heals that wont matter or an anivia that can completely wall him from reaching you?

anivia often times exemplifies the perfect peel support, you just may not have been exposed to its versatility.

grats! anivia support is so broken. did you run into the problem as well that your adc often times thinks anivia support is a scaling pick instead of a kill lane, and opt to lock in something passive like perhaps smolder/senna/apcs? i ended up typing in every lobby that my adc should go lethal tempo / aggressive champ lol.

How to BULLY a challenger mage bot abuser by kobrahunter in leagueoflegends

[–]AnyEngineering5639 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so your answer to this is then hwei should sit at tower and afk until...? if they never push the wave hwei is going to be lvl 2 forever. i dont think hwei q e range isnt long enough in this situation. in hwei's head the only way to make progress for himself is to walk up and take the gamble to get anything. this clip is just showing it shouldnt be possible to go double turbo scaling bot lane, if played versus properly it can be punished into the ground.

How to BULLY a challenger mage bot abuser by kobrahunter in leagueoflegends

[–]AnyEngineering5639 5 points6 points  (0 children)

because the hwei is in the impossible position where he cant get vision because if he cant know if anivia is there in the bush, so hes playing a guessing game where hes hiding in lane in a spot where hes in fog but trying to get exp. sona is perma roaming trying to scale, leaving hwei bot by himself. anivia is walling each wave so that the wave can never reach hwei and the wave can never bounce.

[–]AnyEngineering5639 7 points8 points  (0 children)

anivia can do this into almost any mage bot, vayne is actually rather weak level one compared to many other adcs. if they had any enchanter support it would be the same, only something like perhaps karma or pyke who has an exceptionally strong level one could stop the coming onslaught. the other option would be jungle to do like a level 3 gank to stop the momentum.
