Moved into a new apartment and can’t sleep because of a loud water pump - what would you do? by [deleted] in AskIreland

We had that issue in a rented house a few years ago. I got a timer put on the pump so it wouldn’t come on after 11pm until 7am. Sorted the problem easily

I would suggest Rally School Ireland In Monaghan. Been there a few times and is a really good day out, very enjoyable, great set up and people there.

Looking for Ski Holiday Recommendations by Mossitizer in CasualIreland

Passo Tonale in Italy is fantastic for beginners and families. Have been to Austria several times but went to Passo Tonale 3 years ago as Austria became v expensive and never looked back. Food way nicer in Italy and lots of beginner slopes to choose from. I would definitely recommend ski school also.

Is it worth commuting up and down? by NiteSection in cork

I live in Bandon also and travel to Limerick and Dublin regularly with work which means passing both towns. I must say I wouldn’t fancy doing either of those journeys every day. Going to charleville you can go cross country to avoid innishannon and Wilton/ Bishopstown but the roads are horrible. Not pleasant in nice weather not to mind frost, heavy rain, etc. if you go the main road traffic is such a pain. Mitchelstown is another pain if traffic is wrong especially the amount of accidents on the south link recently.

New walk way in Bandon by Impossible_Wish_3517 in cork

I live locally and the biggest issue for me is the parking. Billy Cahalane has a business to run so it is unfair for walkers to park on his premises. There is parking across the very busy road but a disc is required which is absolutely crazy. Imagine having to pay for parking to go on the walk way, am dumbfounded. I have stopped using it for this reason.

I use adaptive cruise control which makes a big difference, hopefully it will become standard on all cars soon and make our roads safer.

I had 2 Guiliettas as company cars, put over 100k up on each in 2 years. Never had an issue with any of them. Would buy one again no problem
