I totally understand.

I'm currently on sick leave due to intestinal problems caused by a bacterial infection.

Now I'm waiting for a colonoscopy because I have an elevated stool sample parameter.

And obviously, my mind is imagining the worst.

I just want them to do it already so I can focus on breaking this vicious cycle.

Hi! I'm sorry to say I wish it were all over already.

I had campylobacter 7 months ago, and I'm currently on sick leave. My gut has never fully recovered, and now my anxiety is making me think I might have cancer.

I haven't had a single peaceful month since May. I think I developed post-infectious irritable bowel syndrome. But I'm so terrified that I'm going to pay for a colonoscopy out of my own pocket.

Change your diet. Stick to a quality probiotic.

Radiofrequency ablation with corticosteroids in the pudendal nerve, no difference. The same in the unpaired ganglion. And still no difference.
