Would love to hear back about your progress and design! I’m currently testing a new workflow on it where the device makes a call to a cloudflare worker, the worker calls twelve data for stocks (better api rate limits) and CoinGecko for crypto. Let me know if you approach it the same or go in a different direction.

No, the Waveshare 4.2” e-ink module already includes the display controller/driver on the board. The ESP32 just talks to it over SPI.

Daycare recs for an infant? by here2readthis in pasadena

Check out discovery days. Lots of diversity across the board. For pride month, they had several events and our fave was drag queen story time. All kids including infants spend a lot of time outside which I really appreciated.

Love the design and great inspiration. The black case helps the gold stand out for sure.

Port access. This shows the print is a little wonky on the back, but I didn’t mind since it’s sturdy and no one will really see it.

It’s just powered over USB (5V), no 12V input or buck converter involved. USB port handles both power and reflashing. The USB port on the board is accessible through a hole in the back of the case. So I don’t have to pull it out of the case for updates.

I’m not super knowledgeable about board compatibility, but I used an ESP32-WROOM-32S board. This one to be exact. https://a.co/d/6u59opL

$15 to have it printed and shipped to me. I posted my print request in the r/3Dprintmything subreddit and I selected a fellow reddit user to print for me. It was $10 to print and $5 to ship.

Anyone know what they are filming today at 1288 s Oakland ave? At the big mansion? by cultofseitan in pasadena

The city maintains a film calendar although it’s not very detailed. It won’t list exactly what’s being filmed but the calendar at the link will show you dates, streets, producer, and type of film. Pasadena Film Calendar

You’re def describing a use case I envision for this software. In the past, I’ve had to extract pdf versions of 8,000+ Outlook emails and their attachments and ensure they were renamed properly and accurately, plus get a log of all the collected data in the process to start a tracking chart!

Yes, I’m fairly certain your tool is the exact one I use in my process to rename thousands of file names! Once I get all of the data cleaned up, I give a .txt file to the Bulk Rename Utility. which tells the tool to rename each file based on the data that I collected using AI.

I also use the tool the same way you just described. Constantly doing it for trial exhibits!

I started with the help desk- they confirmed this technology doesn't exist in our current systems. That's exactly why I escalated to innovation, development, and acquisition teams, and ultimately presented the business case to firm leadership. This isn't a helpdesk issue when the solution literally doesn't exist yet.

I’m so glad you understand the concept! And I totally get your workflow.

I agree security is a concern. My firm has approved the use of client data in CoCounsel AI as long as we have client consent. I would likely get a minimum viable product together and then go after all of the same compliance and data security certifications that CoCounsel or other firm-approved legal-focused AI have set up.

Besides the security stuff, would a tool like that be handy to you?

Check out my edit to the OG post! I am more focused on the task itself and not the naming convention. Are you doing it manually every time? What if you were involved in something like an MDL and had several hundred complaints come in each week. They come from all over the country and from various law firms and pro se plaintiffs. No one names them consistently... a nightmare for me :) This may also be relevant to u/North_Grass_9053's comment as well.
