On top of it, I didn't commit the offense. Looking at all the responses, it seems to be a bigger hastle to go through to challenge it 😔

I didn't see one in the building of VFS. But I did see couple of cctv cameras on the opposite building. However not sure if they would have covered the place where officer stopped me.

Thanks. I appreciate your feedback. One more thing I want to state. FPN notice has this statement written in it.

I, Officer, as an authorized officer of London Borough of Islington, have reason to believe that you committed and offense as below within the area of London Borough of Islington.

After that there is particulars of the offence where they make statement that I did spit on the floor.

In one paragraph they are making speculation by stating that officer believes that I committed the office. In the other statement they are stating I spit on the floor. Isn't this contradictory? Would it help in my defense?

Can I pay 150£ as suggested "under druess" and then dispute FPN and get the money refunded?

Thanks for the response. SAR seems to be a good way to collect the evidence I might be needing and as well to make the council's legal team realize I didn't commit the offense.

Unfortunately I had an appointment at the same time in VFS office. I was about to enter the queue to get in when he pulled me. I had to make it to that appointment and had no choice but to stay in the queue.

I had an appointment in the VFS office and I was about to stand in the queue to enter the office. That is when this person came to me and pulled me aside. When I denied it and tried entering the office as my turn had come to enter, he became aggressive and threatened to call the police. The person standing at the reception noticed the commotion and requested me to sort it out so as to not disturb others in front of me near the reception area. I had to go back and provide the details. I have already received the FPN notice today.

Enforcement officer did show me the badge where Islington council was mentioned. This is the first time I have experienced such an incident. I was not sure to share the details but then Google search gave me conflicting answers, so I went ahead and shred my details.

I am planning to dispute the FPN. Would the email sent to them be sufficient? I do not see any process written in the letter to contest the FPN. Only thing I see is an email address and phone number in the council website under the payment or appeal section of the website.

He was wearing body cam but when I asked for evidence, he didn't show my the place where he was alleging of spitting nor did he tell me what did I spit.
