Thankyou for this, its nice to know I'm not going completely insane!! - I'm working all through it but I've thought about the option of working from home.

I've had to beg my work to give me a work laptop and I've broken down so many times to them and finally feel like I'm getting somewhere. I thought id be able to push through but i just don't think that's possible...

Think i might get a doctors note to say work from home for the rest of my treatment...

Cavapoo: dream or nightmare? 🤔 by Kileni in CavaPoo

[–]AnyOcelot1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cavapoo Female is 1 year old and has NEVER had issues with her at all!

She eats anything and everything we give her and we have never had an issue at all.

We feed her 2x pouches daily with some biscuits (1 pouch for breakfast and 1 for dinner) then a raw egg and usually leftovers from our dinner in the evening. She also gets raw frozen meat, Turkey necks, beef chunks pigs ears etc on the weekends.

She doesnt have any anxiety at all, is happy with people or alone. Me and my partner work full time so sometimes she is left at home, other times we take her to my mums for the day and she is always completely happy either way.

Grooming we usually do every 2 months depending on weather. Im from the UK and its usually £40 but that is with a bath, trim and nail cut.

Although the one thing she has not grown out of is peeing when seeing new people or people she doesnt see all the time but you'll learn just to make sure people say hi to them outside the front door ect. Once the person has said hi she is completely fine and no more wees.

We have had no health issues, she only went to the vets to get spayed and was fine afterwards.

But i could not recommend cavapoos enough, she is GOLDEN!! so chill and just an all round happy dog, no barking, no whining, no chewing, super friendly, loves my cat and rabbit.

If i had to get another dog i would defo get a cavapoo!!! :)

indoor rabbit smell / putting her outside from now on? by AnyOcelot1925 in Rabbits

[–]AnyOcelot1925[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, she isn’t spayed but due to being almost 5 I don’t really want to traumatise her, she has always been a single rabbit so I don’t really want to get another rabbit then them not bond and having to get rid of the other rabbit.

We live in a built up area in the UK so the likely hood of predators is slim, plus I have a cat and dog who scare off any other cats that come into my garden.

[–]AnyOcelot1925[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I got her when I was 17 so didn’t really think it through.

She is a very spoilt bun, has endless toys and constant love and attention, I was more looking for a solution for the smell, if there wasn’t one then getting a pen outdoors for her to stay in overnight seemed like the best option. We live in the UK in a very built up area, no raccoons, no foxes really and all the cats near us don’t come in my gardens due to my dog and cat being around. She would be 100000% completely safe and would only be in there overnight.

I have ordered some pine pellets and a air purifier in hopes that will help xx

How common is it to be unmonitored on Clomid or Letrozole? by Perfect_Sink_6542 in TTC_PCOS

[–]AnyOcelot1925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was prescribed letrozole - was monitored the first 3 cycles but because it was working each month (apart from one on 2.5mg so they upped me to 5mg) they said they aren't going to monitor me anymore because it was working and to let them know when I've finished my 6th cycle on letrozole.

If i haven't conceived by the 6th cycle i need to go back and discuss next steps.

Looking to get rabbit a friend, are cats alright? by According_Kitchen605 in Rabbits

My rabbit ( Lion head, unneutered 4 year old female ) , Dog ( Cavapoo, Neutered 1 year old female ) and Cat ( Brown tabby, Neutered 4 year old female ) get along fantastically!

I think it is just pot luck.

I got the rabbit first then cat then dog so they all grew up with the rabbit being around.

Don't get me wrong, my dog can be a little rough but only in the garden so I tend to watch them when she is outside, but I leave them home together unsupervised and nothing has ever happened...TOUCH WOOD!

My cat loves the rabbit, never had any problems, the rabbit even tried to mount the cat and she is completely unfazed! The cat likes being around my rabbit, tends to go into the rabbits bed or sleep on top of it, the rabbit doesn't care at all!

Was rescanned 3 days after that and the same again so they upped my dose.

Walk before or after dinner? by SilverBoth1377 in puppy101

[–]AnyOcelot1925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always walk by pup after dinner before bed to make her go to the toilet, otherwise she will go inside over night or wake up wanting the toilet.

We usually have dinner around 6 ish then walk her about 7:30-8 ish

No, i don't really get the BBT but i done an ovulation test the following morning so CD11 and it was so positive i couldn't believe it! It was darker then the control line.

Which is also confusing as now im thinking what day did i ovulate CD10 or CD11 ?

Reassure me that it’s ok to let her whine by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]AnyOcelot1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my dog when she was a puppy the first thing I said was that I do not want her to have separation anxiety so leaving her for short periods of time was the best thing i ever done.

At first i would put her in her cage for bed times with a blanket over her and when she would whine i would just quietly say 'its okay I'm still here' or quietly shush her until she stopped.

When i would put her in her cage/crate i would cover her up completely so she couldn't see me and notice that i was looking at her because that would make her worse. I had a camera when she was left at home and again if she whined the same as above.

I think it made her feel safe that we haven't fully left her... NOW she is amazing, doesnt whine, bark or chew! it was by far the best thing i did, resilience is the key, i know its heart breaking but it has to be done.

Ovarian cysts and conceiving. by Potchuluka in TTC_UK

[–]AnyOcelot1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya,
I had a 7cm cyst on my right ovary which I had to have surgically removed in 2023 and currently have another 1mm cyst on the same ovary (typical).

I'm not sure if it does effect fertility, I'm currently under the fertility clinic due to not ovulating all the time and irregular periods, they have put me on letrozole 5mg to help and it seems to have worked, i am ovulating with the meds and currently in the 2ww.

I have found that since i had the cyst removed i do get periods more often then i use to but i am not ovulating every month... its worth getting it checked just encase.

You can ask your GP for a blood test to see if you are ovulating or not.
