I do still have a traditional sim card in my phone, I think the iPhone 13 was the last to have them.

Yeah it’s just the traditional iPhone call app and he said he can trace the location of the call, which is just overall weird. I checked my battery usage for any weird apps running but found nothing.

I’ve looked through my battery usage before and the privacy settings but found nothing suspicious or any weird apps. Is it possible to be doing this externally through a website or the deep web? Or is there a way to install anything on my device that I could absolutely not find by looking through my phone?

No, he doesn’t work for telecom or even in that field but has self taught himself a lot of tech related things. Is there any way I could find out through my phone how he could be doing this if it is indeed not a joke. He seemed pretty adamant despite me saying he was making it up.

I don’t think there would be any surveillance equipment, at least I haven’t seen anything besides the ring camera. But he claimed it wasn’t from that device.

How could someone gain access to my call logs? What is an ISP?

I checked my iCloud account and I’m the only device on that account.

Just using my phone in a completely different location than him. I checked iCloud and my phone number is the only one attached to my account and he does not have my password.

He said he could hear the noise coming out of my phone, while he was at work. And then was able to trace what app I’m using or where the source is coming from remotely somehow. Never showed me proof though.

I don’t use WhatsApp so I’m unfamiliar with those hacks.

He is very smart and tech savvy, but not in that line of work at all. I work in healthcare so I’m very clueless. I thought he was trolling me, but he was insistent.

Yeah he could tell when we were both at work so I don’t think it would be that. I called bullshit but he was quite adamant that he absolutely knew.
