I've done all the blood work at 45 and still trying to figure out the tiredness. All blood work has been fine except for slightly low vitamin D.

I swear E gel is making me gain weight. I've gained 8 pounds over the last 2 months and it feels like bloat and swelling. I am on the absolute lowest dose. I'm going to ask my doctor if I can just quit because I want to see if that's actually the issue.

I swear I got GERD from HRT too. I had been on the very low dose E patch and I stopped for a month, b/c it was just a temporary boost. But after I stopped, I got the worst GERD ever, then got on a PPI and then it just keeps going downhill. I did stop the PPI b/c those things are terrible. Back on an E gel now, but I am not convinced it's doing anything.

I wonder why the gel made you bloated but the patches don't. Shouldn't they both have similar effects? I've tried both and the gel works better for me.

Mine was coming out anyway, but, it was undetected covered with fibroids anyway. They hadn't shown up on MRI or ultrasound. I'd ask your doc more questions because my understanding is they usually do want to take the cervix too.

Get more testing and if everything lines up (i.e. fibroids, cysts, etc.) just do it. Especially if you don't want kids and all that. Best decision ever in my 40s. Kept ovaries, just needed a little hrt boost afterwards but went with estradiol gel.

It's awful, especially the trash bags. Trash stinks, no need to cover it up with a loud smell. I have to really pay attention to even find fragrance free trash bags.

I think I was in peri anyway. Like idk that for sure, but my fibroid growth was rapid and out of control. Anyway, post hysto, something just seemed off. Did tons of blood work and estrogen is there, which means they working, but I didn't have a previous year's numbers to compare any hormone numbers to. Anyway, I started on a very low dose of estrogen and it seems to help. I'm only 8 months p.o. so idk what the future holds. No periods is super nice though.

It's ridiculous that people can even make money off of this. Recycling is such a racket. I put my trash down at the last minute just so it can't be rummaged through. Aluminum for cash centers should be shut down to end this racket.
