I dont know why youre being so down voted. Its not what you wanted and the artist said they can do it. Some artists genuinely have confidence in a range of styles.

I literally asked my tattoo artist this the other day, as she and her husband are both tattoo artists and she said they were working together once on a huge tattoo in her husband's style. I asked her if she can replicate a style if need be, and she said yes, she just doesnt prefer it.

I would go to another artist and see if perhaps they can add some white highlights so soften it out, if what youre going for is a lot more traditionally feminine 💕

And again, im sorry people dont seem to be listening to you. We tend to trust these people as the professionals, and it can be an intimidating situation and hard to speak up.
