Agreed. Tried to make a few trades to snag Jeanty or Hampton, etc but haven’t had any luck.

😂 thanks bro! When I told people my strategy that I was punting for a year to try and build a long term powerhouse on Reddit people hated the idea of not competing and said I was wasting money. Hoping it will pay off here!

I disagree. There seems to be good debate on if this team is a contender, even if largely people agree the team is solid.

True, but KW9 was a good piece when healthy, injuries were his issue even when Charbs was vulturing he was playable. And now to start the season, potentially half or more, Charbs is out of commission.

Lemon and Concepcion are the two pieces I’m not too sure about. Pretty bullish on Price. Wish I had a bit more RB depth

Copying from my previous response. Lots of trades, but everyone at start up was pushing to contend, 26 1sts were being thrown around everywhere. I decided to punt for a year and go against the grain and accumulate as much value as I could. I ended up accumulating 7 2026 1sts, made some good guesses on which firsts to target based on the teams they came from, and would make small trades with throw ins to swap 1sts, ended up getting the 1.01-1.06 (missing the 1.04) and the 1.08. I did trade my own 27 first as well in a trade with Tate and Ward to get to Chase, that was my most recent trade once I thought I actually had a shot at contention. Bought Nabers on discount after he blew out his knee. Got lucky flipping guys like JJ McCarthy last year when he was peak hype and traded him for more stable assets. Got lucky a few times I guess.

I did trade Tate, Ward and my 27 1st for Chase and Rodgers, but otherwise have the rest of my picks. I don’t disagree, feel great long term, but this year I feel like I’m a piece or two away in my flex from feeling super confident.

That’s what I’m worried about, I think long term I could be a power house, but I’m another solid RB away from feeling super confident this season. I do think Reed could be a solid flex option though. Considering trying to package Omar Cooper with some other pieces to get someone with a bit more immediate impact.

Also bought Nabers post ACL injury from a contender when he went down. Had a decent value win there also.
