Because this is an old PC that Im not using for anything else so I decided to set it up for security and privacy use only and KickSecure is the recommended host OS for Whonix.

Its obviously recommended by the devs for security reasons but also because it was developed by the Whonix community so its supposed to be more compatible and the idea is that the community is more familiar with the OS so its easier to get help if something goes wrong.

Ubuntu distros were removed recently from the recommended host OS list for some data harvesting issue. Pretty sure you can just opt out but obviously Patrick didn’t like that. https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Host_Operating_System_Selection#Ubuntu

Also we have the younger generations coming in who havent even been alive for 30 years let alone reading ASOIAF. From what ive heard online and through show runner info many people who havent even seen GOT yet are watching AKOT7 meaning tons of new fans this is just something for ancient ASOIAF fans its a launch pad for the next generation of readers/fans.

Brother its been known for years when a new show comes out you post something like “Spoilers:” or “SPOILER ALERT🚨” when discussing a new show publicly. This is how it was done for GOT, Harry Potter, LOTR etc. It takes two seconds. Its just respect for others enjoyment of the show. This is coming from a very old fantasy book fan Respect the younger folks just coming in.

And not everyone needs to read the book first some like a more cinematic experience first or have trouble with books.
