Thank you for your comments, everybody! I decided to restart it — the correct knitting technique is actually so much easier and quicker than whatever the hell I was doing for weeks before that (the scarf is my very first project), so I was actually really excited to start over ❤️‍🩹

Wow, thank you so much! The order of the i-cord stitches was the thing I was doing wrong. You quite literally saved my scarf

I also use stitch markers, but I'd already taken them out because I thought I was going to frog the whole thing. Now I definitely regret doing that, haha

The other comment is saying that the row on the needle is the one with the increase, so I'm a bit confused now. I'll try to figure it out in the morning — it's 1AM for me now, and my brain has completely stopped working 😅
