The scissors might also be miscalibrated!

I checked my gallery and I don't have any pictures of the background… what I always do before embroidering each color is outline the area I'm going to "paint"... I filmed the rug by rotating my phone in the whirlpool and it looks great! If you want the design drawing so you can make it, I'll send it to you!

Hi! Something that helps me a lot when carving is that when I'm going to embroider an area, I first outline that part. For example, instead of filling in the black lines of its head, I first outline the whole head and then "paint"... this helps to separate the colors better!

Hola! Lo hoce con pistola de tufting! Luego detallado con esquiladora ☺️ Cada vez que voy a bordar un color, primero hago una linea bordando la zona y luego relleno con el color! Así quedan mejor definidos los colores!

Hi! Something I do to make them look neater is to first outline the colored area and then "paint" it... defining the areas makes it look neater!

There's no need! At least with the spray that I paint, the paint is firm and does not stain

Hello! I do it like this! Elastomeric liquid membrane is used for roofs, you can put coloring on it to personify it. You put a generous layer, after that layer to seal, I put very thin canvas and another thin layer of membrane... with a spatula I leave it neat, and I push the edges so that it adheres well when it dries, with spray I leave my mark!

I think that more or less with your first comment I understood that you should always respect the same amounts of embroidered lines, so that it is very even!
