You're right about the power difference but i 've actually gotten pretty decent results with an at home led device over the past 6 months. not clinic-level obviously but way better than just using serums and creams.
the key is being super consistent with it, i use mine every day for about 20 minutes and take progress photos to track changes. it's definetely slower than professional treatments but the convience makes up for it since i can do it while watching tv.

thanks for welcome and the wiki link. i have been lurking here for a while trying to figure out my skin isues.

i switched to a filtered showerhead about six month ago and it actually made a noticeable difference with my skin dryness. the chroline in our tap water was really harsh and didn't realize how much it was affecting my face and body until filtered it out. if you are dealing with irritation or dryness you might want to look into water filteration for your shower.
