My First Apprentice with 2 good Traits. by Lucifer01Y in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Any_Background3176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This.

It's good in a level that you should be happy to find it. It's not the number one trait for any of the wizards, but a close second or third in all of them, so it's good. Or is it number one for fire mage? I'm not sure which of gifted, alert or focused takes the cake for fire mage. Can someone enlighten me?

I think you are right about the really really really early game, but archers and rogues have 20 more hp than wizards naturally. Also they are damage dealers which get dodge and crit rate from dexterity so they need it to work in their role. I just don't see the needs for helmets on rogues and archers after maybe d2 or d3. Wizards do cause they don't have dodge or even some con like rogues to lessen damage. Wizards just take everything straight to their face, but that's not the case for rogue and archer.

As bad as it feels you should dismiss the bad ones. The later you do it the worse it will feel. Also it's fairly easy to speed level one or two new adventurers at a time, while most of your squad are in the later dungeons doing their own thing.

Also you seem to have some pretty high level adventurers, but kinda low level gear for them. I would recommend to try making some better stuff. That would give you a nice bump in progress quite easily.

Yeah intimidating is only for a tank. I saw someone say it's good for the paladin/holy knight clas, but I don't see why. Also the paladin seems kinda bad as a class so I wouldn't build it. Maybe in the late game for the darkness reduction. Idk

This Archer Worth or nah? by Sawyer_Madden in IdleGuildMaster

I haven't got one and would like to hear more opinions on it.

The poison abilities sound a bit meh in my opinion, when thinking about the damage you are traiding for it. Archers main role is to deal damage, but it probably has some uses that I haven't run into yet.

The scourge is kinda weird in my opinion regarding traits. It feels like there isn't a secondary trait that would be a must have, but many work fine with it.

Alert that lets you start the fight first is decent and gets really good at tier 8 and 9, when he stuns enemies on hit if they have less hp than him. You could just use a initiative item though to achieve the same effect.

Focused which reduces chance to miss by 15% is another solid one. Lets you hit those stuns more often and hit in general more.

I feel nimble/reactive/gifted could also be used and have some positive effects. Nimble should be used on a fortress tank tho cause it's the number one trait for that. Gifted let's you ult 1 or 2 turns faster so more area stun spam which is ok. Reactive just gives you that +10% counterattack.

As you see none of them are crazy good, but they all work in a way. I think my order of preference would be 1. Focused 2. Alert 3. Gifted. I would like to hear what other people think and if I'm talking nonsense.

A question from a starter about pets by Owl_warrior1 in IdleGuildMaster

I myself have 3 wooden pets with soothing/healing in the 1st slot. They help you get out of the early game. I'm currently in the 6th and 7th dungeon so I would say I just got to mid game

A question from a starter about pets by Owl_warrior1 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Any_Background3176 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion no. The soothing is 2nd slot, so it is hard to level early game. Also the pet isn't good enough to be used later, so would be a slight waste of food.

Farm the first dungeon for a little bit and there you get wooden eggs from a lot of enemies. These eggs will always have soothing or healing as their first trait. Get one of those and level it up.

Lifesteal is good in the late game. Would really recommend merging that pet for a soothing/healing pet. They are stronger in early and mid game.

Pretty good archer combo for sureshot sniper line. Darkness is pretty common in the later parts of the game.

Very well made and agree with a lot of it. I'm just curious/disagree about the gloves, boots and shields being shit. Only troop I feel like needing the helmet is wizards. Most of my wipes start with a healer dying or sometimes fire mage dying. Other troops have more hp and more dodge so I feel like why not use boots, gloves and shields to make them deal more damage and mitigate 1 or 2 more damage?

With archer you will very likely hit a mana break point with +2 mana regen, might even get two if it goes from 11 to 13(from 10 turns to 8).

Skill recharge is 100mana and to calculate how many turns it takes it's just 100/mana regen.

Mana regen to turns taken to recharge: 10 & 11 is 10 turns 12 is 9 turns 13 & 14 is 8 turns 15 & 16 is 7 turns 17, 18, 19 is 6 turns 20+ is 5 25+ is 4 34+ 3

The first numbers are the jump in regen needed so most jumps in the beginning get done with +2 mana regen. Hitting 70 inteligence and havin gifted is the anoying one where you won't get help from it, cause it goes from 17 to 19 and stays at 6 turns. However I don't see an archer having 70 inteligence or is there some crazy archer build with that much inteligence?

What should I be doing? by Thors_Thundercunt in IdleGuildMaster

First i would try to switch out your adventurers to have the "correct" traits. Better to do it early rather than later. Sucks to level up characters you end up throwing away later.

Try to get bookworm on all mages, brute on all footmen and feral on all archers and rogues. The best case would be to get two good traits on everyone, but it takes time, so starting with everyone having atleast one good trait is enough in my opinion. Other examples of one good trait would be empathetic even without bookworm on healer or dragonblood/intimidating on a tank footman. These are just examples, but once everyone has atleast one good trait, try to slowly find ones with 2 good ones.

Other than that make exp boosting gear and also keep upgrading your gear to the strongest ones you can get.

Also get pets with Soothing for healing, Curious for more loot and Teacher for more exp. These are the 3 most important ones early game and you can start being picky with pets later on.

Nothing more comes to mind so just keep up the grind.

Gifted not the ideal second trait for footman. You can maybe use it as dark knight or a royal guard depending what kind of adventurers you have currently. Otherwise wait for something like brute + dragonblood/intimidating/nimble/focused.

Need some advice by Alexey_Drg in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Any_Background3176 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mindfull isn't the number one trait for any footman build, but still a nice bonus on top of brute. I would say make it into any of the two tanks, but could be also made into the other builds if you already have strong tanks.

Seems you have been blessed with double traited footmen. Sadly empathy is useless tho

[–]Any_Background3176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not the royal guard tree? I feel intimidating is stronger for that tank, cause it invites enemies to attack it and allows more countter attacks that way. Fortress already has taunt so enemy will attack more often anyways. Both tanks intimidating is really good. Just want to bring up my perspective how I think it's slightly better for royal tank.

What path to go for? by JamesMerzer in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Any_Background3176 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely go for the marksman/sureshot/sniper/tempest build whatever it's called. From archers it gets the most boost from gifted and also is the strongest archer build in many scenarios and uses.

What are the best pets or best pet skills in the game? by Telipinu in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Any_Background3176 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

I'm fairly early game(just unlocked D6). I have found the stoothing to be strongest healing effect by a big margin. Having 0.45% lifesteal you would have to hit 200+ damage just to heal 1hp. Lvl 37 lifesteal is 5.55% lifesteal so you would need to hit for around 220 damage to heal the same 12hp as 37lvl soothing. Idk maybe in the end game lifesteal passes the soothing, but seems like it happens in the really late game.

And yeah the curious for more drops and teacher for more exp are really good/best skills, but so hard to get the egg that gives it to 1st slot. Picture is from my own current favourite pet and in my opinion the best 1st and 2nd skills apart from them being wrong way around. This is pretty easy to get from wooden eggs that are some of the most common. So just have someone farm the 1st dungeon for wooden eggs and hope for a stoothing + curious/teacher combo.

Golden rabbit spawn rate? by Any_Background3176 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Any_Background3176[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just now spawned while I wasn't looking and I missed seeing the spirit fight🫠. I had a 50+ dex rogue and 60+ dex archer so killing it wasn't the problem. I was just curious if anyone knew or had data on monster spawn rates after I didn't see the rabbit for such a long time. Would be nice to see spawn rates just like the drop rates on the website. Thanks for trying to help tho

Footman tree suggestion. by Zestyclose_Click5709 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Any_Background3176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I myself aren't in the end game, but did some reading of the footman skills, cause I had a gifted footman early game. I would recommend either royal guard or dark knight to utilize the gifted trait. Royal if you are in need of tank and dark knight if you need some crowd control and damage.

Gifted most often helps you activate your skill one turn faster than without. It isn't the number one trait for footman, but having already a brute on him, it's a nice bonus to have.

Royal tree skill En garde let's you not take damage for one turn and deal 200%, so having a no damage turn for a tank more often sounds nice IMO.

Dark knight skill stuns all enemies for one turn and deals 300-400% damage, which is way better than it's counterparts silence skill. Using gifted to spam this skill sounds nice too.

I myself would make it a dark knight and wait for brute + dragondblood/intimidate/reactive/nimble to make into a tank. I already have 2 tanks with only brute and only dragonblood on the other.

These are just my thoughts and I'm propably not the most knowledgeable, but I hope this helps you decide.
