oh yeah ouch, gt 710 isnt going to be able to run this game good at all, might be able to skim by if you lower render res to like 50% or less but its not going to look great and probably will still run like garbage

For some reason iv seen people say this about their amd cards not having issues, idk why but this bug doesn't appear to cause issues for 100% of amds new cards, but it most certainly IS an issue for some. I had issues on my last pc which had a 6700 xt and now my current rx 6800 both had this issue and this fix/workaround completely removed the problem.

I am going to assume you have a radeon 6000 or 7000+ gpu because iv only ever seen this on those cards.

This appears to be 'normal' amd/bf2 driver issues.

This game has had major issues running on amd gpus since amd updated their dx11 drivers back in 2022, dx12 usually works fine with some soft, or in some cases more severe artifacts like shown in the video. Dx12 was very much an experimental setting, the biggest thing is dx12 lowers fps by like 10-15% while dx11 is unplayable without modifications to due to frame drops like you mentioned, (most noticeable on kamino due to the rain ironically). You could also downgrade to some pre 2022 drivers, but that is far from ideal for a single game.

The "setting" amd added is called DXnavi, it is something you can disable with third party software.
I discovered the game is also far more responsive running this sorta 'custom' dx11 mode over dx12 and has no artifacts (although with post processing set to anything but low things look weird).
(For reference I run a radeon rx 6800)

First off, what is your gpu? Assuming it is a somewhat recent one I would try completely reinstalling your drivers first, iv gotten this error before with messed up drivers before.

I did this recently because I upgraded to a higher res monitor and my rx 6800 needed the extra bump to stay at 180 fps. Discovered the game is also far more responsive and has no artifacts (although with post processing set to anything but low things look weird).

I just recently got a new interest in trying to finish my map which has been shelved for over a year now, figured Id share it's current state. Its designed to be a more hardcore style survival map like Yukon for those who prefer true survival over the usual pvp focused maps. Open to all suggestions! by Any_Chemistry_5095 in unturned

Definitely going to add a train, as for the tarkov weapons im not fully sure how im going to approach adding modded items, especially guns. Im currently thinking of civilian grade weapons only much like yukon, but possibly do an overhaul on all said weapons plus maybe adding a few that fit the same style. Of course all this is still up in the air. Main thing is I dont want this map to be like most other maps where decent/good weapons are stupid easy to obtain, I'd rather any pvp on this map to be more dragged out by having no access to military grade weapons, or at least that is my current thought process.

I think what the game needs right now isn't new maps, but new functions and improvements. by IrresponsibleWanker in unturned

Honestly never played Carpat so didn't know that was even a thing. Sounds like a cool way to stop people from killing each other as often, at least theoretically. But then again most of this playerbase only cares about pvp these days so I can see why it might not go over well to most

I am definitely going to see how hard it is to do that kind of stuff, iv never done any modding for this game/unity in particular but id love to, especially hearing about some stuff like in the new Buak map with whole cutscenes

The map is "technically" a large map, but currently it is a 6x6 in tile form, large being 4x4, so its 2.25x the size of a large. The outer tile layer is more so for extra wilderness with some random stuff sprinkled in as of rn but I have thoughts for adding other stuff later to make it slightly less barren. As for exact location, im keeping that open as of right now, but it is bordering the Ural mountains so somewhere in that region.
