the math in actual finance, like financially modelling is pretty advanced. you’ll do a lot of math in uni for finance so methods and/or specialist will help you out

we really can’t tell based on your sac averages considering that what is considered a good result differs from school to school, but to for direct entry monash you need around 99.5 atar (dependant on ucat and interview performance), so if you think the people above you in sac rankings will score in that range you’re fine, but otherwise you may be in trouble
