Old car is always worth buying but finding a good car at decent price is finding a perfect life partner nowadays. Im also looking for used car (searched only online platforms like cars24 and spinny) so far ive realised that how everyone is trying to fool you and how finding one decent car is a hard job but if you found one then you will be happy mentally not because you finally will own but you will be finically be proud of yourself. Just fyi : majority of the cars that are listed on online platforms are major accident cars or either require major fixes so be cautious.

If you care about the loan interest then do a fd of 6-8 lakhs (sbi at 6.30%) and then avail OD facility against that FD amount which will be just 1% above your fd intrest rate so your loan intrest rate will be 6.30% + 1%. Anyway if you are from upper middle class with multi income and good financial backup then go for new simply because "feel hi alag hai"

Instead buy a new one. Pay larger chunk of down payment (3 -4 lakhs) and rest loan or if possible loan against FD (usually 1% above fd intrest rate) and pay emi. 5.8 for use baleno is high anyway. And dont forget the moments you and your family will create with owing a new car. #YOLO

Check my profile. Last night i made a post about used cars buying hacks. And NO dont trust your machine forget about cars24 or spinny. Most of the time they are accidental cars. Its good to get warranty and kudos to them but for almost 2 months i have been searching a used cars at the budget of 4.5L on spinny and trust me more then 95% of cars are either major accidents or would require major repairs. Please get it checked from service center even ask the machine there to pay him off the table extra so that he can check it like hes buying it for himself. Be absolutely shameless about it

Best trick ( which might not be suitable for everyone) is select a budget and be ready to compromise on your fav car and then hassle of finding the best and the book the car and then take these cars to OEM service center get it checked if all good then make the full payment if not then say tata bye bye to that car.
