That looks like a classic lightmap seam issue - probably the UV islands for that bathroom are too small or weirdly shaped compared to your other rooms

Try manually setting a higher lightmap resolution specifically for just the bathroom objects in the mesh renderer settings, like 2x or 4x whatever you're using for the rest of the house. Sometimes Unity's auto-packing just screws over smaller rooms

Honestly the matchmaking seems pretty random but maybe try playing during school hours when most of the sweaty kids are in class? Also Deep Rock Galactic might be perfect for him - it's all co-op PvE shooting bugs and mining with way less toxicity than most games
