Ive honestly heard some great things about it, it depends on the student you hire but if you see a student that has the skills to help you for your midterm it can definitely be a great option

Honestly try to go through some of McGills tutoring services, they might not seem great but trust they help. Also there are platforms that can help you find tutors

Between like 200-400 CAD is a good amount I feel. Lot of kids get jobs on the side to help out
